Need Help Bulking

Hello chaps, Im new to bodybuilding and this T-Nation site, but from what i’ve heard its the place to be for information. I’ve been bulking for the past 5 months but i havent gained any weight yet… im beginning to wonder if im doing it wrong!

Heres my diet: I have been taking an average of about 1000-1500 calroies a day. I usually get my protein from peanuts and chicken, i have a bag of peanuts a day becuase i read from Lee Labrada that there is alot of healthy protien in it.
I get my carbs from potato chips, they also have lots of fat and sodium in them.
I’ve been aiming for two high calorie meals a day becuase i want to have lots of calories but stay lean by having a maximum of two meals.

Workout Routine: I’ve been following Dorian Yates’ style of training. Im aiming for around 20-25 reps per exercise and i finish every set off with rubber resistant bands.
For chest i do the pec fly machine (6 sets). Legs i do leg extensions (3 sets). Arms i do the bicep curl machine (6 sets). For back i do dumbell shrugs (3 sets).
I run on the treadmill every other day along with pilates to make my muscles more dense.

I was also wondering what your thoughts are on Surge products?

Any information would be very much appreciated as im relatively bored of being the same weight no matter what i do…

Dude, glad to see a new face at the nation! I don’t really see where you’re going wrong here haha only a few minor changes needed before you can get major swole, aite well hear me out bro, i’ll give you some advice on training and a lil bit of diet LOL!

training- dude so far it all looks good, if youre going for bulk you need to lower the reps though, i read in a book once that 0-1 rep is good for bodybuilding style muscles but 6 is for powerlifting muscles, but 8 is for weightlifting muscles, although 10 is for sports muscles and however 30 is for toned muscles. so you know, pick your poison! hehe.

i have a couple exercises to recommend to you buddy, try push ups on the stability ball, it’s hard at first but once you master the art your arms and back will blow up like a really big bodybuilder! the other one is for sheer size all over, try barbell side raises, it boosts testosterone all over just like skwats.

diet- drop the chicken man trust me, its better to go with supplements man, they have purer protein and you wont get gyno, a couple i can recommened is muscle milk and protein, if you plateu try creating, its quite dangerous but you will gain weight FAST!

Well my boy, i’ve reported you to the testosterone-nation police, along with the regular police, as well as your parents. Im mournful that i had to take it to this level, yet i feel its my obligation to discipline you youths and reduce forum harassment!
