Need Advice

A middle aged man I know from the gym asked me two questions. The first was that he has natural low testosterone and uses doctor prescribed 1cc of test enanthate once a week. Occasionally he goes off for a week or two and doesn’t use anything for estrogen. I am not very experience in the area but I suggested that he might want to look into using some sort of anti-estrogen when he goes off for that time period. Was I right with that comment??

Also, he wants to shed some body fat and asked me about clen. To give you some round about figures, he is 6’0 275lbs and about 25-30% body fat. Quite strong for a man in his 40’s, bench over 400 and have seen him do rack pulls with 700 for a double (yes, he uses more enanthate at times then the doctor prescribes and is on androgel). He wanted to know the dosage he should take. I didn’t give an answer yet. I know that most people start with 20mcg/day and increase 20mcg/day untill they can’t tolerate it and then lower the dosage to the previous day. Also not go go over i believe 140mcg/day. Because of his size should he start with 20mcg/day? or 40mcg/day?

I appreciate everyones help in advace

I honestly don’t like the thought of a middle aged man who is already that big and that high of bodyfat…as clen has been repeatedly been shown to enlarge the smooth tissue in the heart. Could be fatal sooner than later. If he insisted on it…I would play it by ear. I wouldn’t let my dad do it and he’s in better shape than that…the anti-e though is probably a good idea as high amounts of estrogen have been shown to enlarge the prostate as he is at the age to start considering prostate health a little closer.

Thanks for the reply.
As I thought about the same thing with the heart, I did ask about his vitals. His BP is in normal range and his HR is normal. He was more worried about the sides becuz of his sides, esp. the extra sweating becuz he says he already sweats profusely.
I thought the anti-e would be a good idea.

Honestly, if he dropped 10-15% BF he will be far better off than more test or anti e’s. If he got down to 15%BF his sweating should all but stop.

The anti-e was for when he came off the HRT for a week or two not because of anything else. I agree, droppin the body fat would be beneficial in every way, which I have suggested and offered to help with his nutrition.
This person is very hard headed and believes in the old school approach, “more weight on the bar, eat whatever”, which is a terrible approach. (sorry if i stereotyped) His lifting approach is bad because he lacks in my parts but that is besides the point.

But if anyone has the any suggestions since this guy is going to take clen on whether he should start at 40mcg/day and not 20mcg please put your input in.
Thanks for the replies so far, keep them coming

im 20 and have strength trained four years, this year being the most active and intense. ive taken every supp under the sun except pro hormones and im always dissapointed. i ordered halodrol 50, orastan e, and novadex xt after being recommended severeral times.

but im having second thoughts after researching side effects. i plan on taking liver and joint support but i would like some advice on whether or not to go through with it and what to expect and what i need to know.

i currently weigh 190 with 14% bf and bench 315, squat 425, powerclean 260. im playing college football next season and want more strength then i have time to train for and im cant hold off from taking it much longer.

i realize its ncaa banned but i have time before i would ever be tested. any advice would be greatly appreciated. if i shouldnt take it what is the best safe alternative for maximal strength gain?

if i should what am i lacking? thanks…
