I’m still a definite.
This 5 pound cheesesteak doesn’t stand a mothafuckin’ chance!

To drive 160 miles (one way) or not…
My brain is telling me it is not worth it to make this trip but my gut is telling me this is something not to miss!
Damn, already we’ve got people dropping out! I wasn’t expecting that to happen til Friday!
Lol, I’m not going to lie, I wouldn’t drive that far for a cheesesteak.
i’m still in, although i’m still looking for a wingman.
also, still on the fence as to whether or not eating a 5 lb cheesesteak is even possible for someone of my size.
might need a colonic to make it all fit.

You big nancy!!
It’s cool, you can use the cheesesteak as an excuse to shove a big tube up your butt, we won’t look down on you hahah ![]()
So I’m counting 3 definites then so far??
Myself, Lanky and Wormwood?
EDIT: It obviously doesn’t lock you in…I just want to call up Tony Lukes and be like, " I have like 3-6, or whatever, people that may be coming to take the cheesesteak challenge"

What about that tiny chinese guy who eats all our hotdogs?
Or that tiny asian woman (black widow?) who eats all our hot wings?
You’ve got the tiny part down, if you could turn asian I think this challenge would be money in the bag.

Gas: $50
5lb Cheesesteak: $43
Few Possible Beers After: $15
Driving 2.5 hours for the greatest cheesesteak and food eating event in T-Nation History: Priceless
As I’m sure some great man said before me:
Driving 5 hours lasts a day, pussying out on a 5lb cheesesteak; Lasts a lifetime!
2 more days, bitches!

I’m gonna make this cheesesteak my bitch…Bitch!!
i almost never post on here… i lurk a lot obviously
but had i have seen this thread earlier, i would have cleared out my schedule so that i could be there to witness this, and meet some T-Nationers, and eat til i puked. Good luck guys. honestly.
when i was in college we used to do this thing called a case race. and i used to be able to hold about 10 beers in my stomach before i would feel the need to pull the trigger and empty out so that i wasnt waiting for the drunk to set in (keep in mind thats 120oz of liquid). ive also eaten numerous 3lb hamburgers from spuds in kutztown pa, a 60oz steak from gregories, and numerous party hoagies from wawa and subway.
holding that much stuff in your stomach actually isnt hard at all if you already eat a lot. the weight of it is whats really uncomfortable though.
so my advice to you guys is to wear large loose pants (if you have them) that wont constrict your ever expanding stomach, and dont bother wearing a belt. also, use water as your beverage. and only drink it when you need it, cause its going to take up space in your stomach where steak and bread should be residing. if I were there doing this challenge, i would eat all the meat first, then dunk the roll in water and squash that bitch down as small as i could before eating it. just my two cents.

No chance you’ll be able to bail on your prior engagements to join us for the festivities?
i wish i could honestly. this cheesesteak is more food than ive ever eaten, and id like to see how far i could get on this mess. unfortunately though, im driving to my moms on friday to spend easter weekend with her.
family first… those fuckers always ruin my plans!
No worries, man. Maybe we can make this a yearly event, haha.

I think I could be in for next year. Too much shit going on for me this weekend and it would be a long ass drive for me, but if I planned it out, it would be something I would like a crack at.
