Lol, many 800 calorie meals got me to this size. I’ve never tried eating 5 pounds of ANYTHING! I’ll give it a go, though, I just don’t wanna talk all this shit on T-Nation, just to be on film crying like a little girl because I couldn’t finish, haha.
^^^
I hope I finish it, get my prize and picture, then get a solid video of me blowing huge cheesesteak chunks outside my car door!!
That would be a classic moment in T-Nation movie history.
Oh damn I’d so try it with you guys if I didn’t live all the way in England! >=[ I might do the gallon of milk in an hour challenge though, but that’s nothing compared to that!
The milk challenge is actually pretty easy…if you don’t mind throwing up. I did it in under 30 minutes and a friend of mine did it in 8 minutes. Puking the entire time, of course.
only 7 people have done it? doesnt even seem that hard. Win it for T-Nation !
When Me and Lanky finish our last bites of these cheesesteaks, that photo should be a photo of the month or something!!
Title being, “Real T-Men eat 5lb Cheesesteaks and lift Heavy Ass Weights!”
Fuck Yeah!
Do you all have a date set? I am looking for road-trip material…

First week of April. We can establish a set date and time, like maybe a friday or saturday or even a sunday or any day of the week for that matter. Whatever we can all agree on
Nate - I’m not sure if I’d consider this road trip worthy (lol), but if you’re just looking to get out and do something, it’d definitely be cool if you came. I’d prefer a Saturday - no work and I’ll have all day to eat and stretch my stomach.

Well, it COULD be road trip worthy. There is a bar right across the street hahah!
Eat a fat ass cheesesteak then go drink a few brews in celebration of our successful food challenge, or our attempt at it!
Turn it into a T-Nation food challenge and beer day
Alls I know is: the weather is nice, my motorcycle is calling, I need a vacation, and I haven’t had a Philly cheesesteak before…
edit: a REAL one. The philly airport cheesesteak just didn’t do it…
I vote April 3rd…
After steak challenge, will there be a MMFF challenge?

haha you must have watched man vs. food the other night. That thing looks delicious. Unfortunately I am starting V-Diet Sunday. I could be talked into making the trip up in May though. Maybe do a PL meet up there and hit weigh in for my weight class then go and throw one of those bad boys down!
How is Tony Luke’s? I saw Man v. Food awhile ago and didn’t know if Tony’s was like Pat’s (aka another tourist trap)…so I haven’t been down there yet.

5lbs of cheesesteak is hard to eat? really?

Tony lukes is NOTHING like pat’s or genos!! Pat’s and Genos are good for those late center city nights all fucked up and wanting some grease!
Tony Lukes was rated best philly cheesesteak for 2009 and 2008 I think. They are 100x better than that shitty pat’s and genos. Try it out some time. They also have AMAZING pork sandwiches.
If I was in Pennsylvania I would totally come give it a shot.
I just got home from eating a 2lb “Double Mega Burger.” I wasn’t even close to full after!
