Anybody near Frostburg, MD want to try this one? It looks pretty fucking hard, but if you finish the whole pizza(8 pounds) they give you a fucking Wii.
I’d say I would do it, as I’m close enough, but that scares the shit outta me…
It is terrifying…but alluring at the same time. I definitely want to get a couple easier ones under my belt before I attempt it. I’m doing this one next weekend I think: http://www.mybigfatgreekgyro.com/menu.html 3 Pounds of meat on a 14 oz. pita, plus toppings; so about 4 pounds. It’s just south of pittsburgh, if anybody wants to MEAT up.

I’m going to re-attempt this 5lb beauty at the end of the month possibly.
I KNOW I could have done this, it’s eating at me that I didn’t!!! This is more than just a picture and $46…this is a pure battle between man and steak that man must win!
Hey if you can push it to the first week of May, I’ll be back home and I’m definitely down for giving that thing a shot if you need a partner in greasy misery. I’ve been dreaming about that cheesesteak ever since I got wind of it back in Feb.
It seems as if the general consensus is around first week of may for another shot at this 5lb bad boy!
I’m down with that, any takers? Round 2 of tony lukes 5 lb cheesesteak?
Also, this would be a good thread to come up with some other good food challenges in areas. I know if given enough time I could come out for food challenges possibly as far as pittsburgh, considering we had a decent show of people.

We already have one nomination for May 2nd. But someone else isn’t available til the 7th(ish). Let’s do this!
That gyro looks money! We shoudl set that one up too. I think I could do that…
I have a couple friends that want to do the gyro next saturday, although I might persuade them to wait another week. And I might be able to swing a roadtrip in May, depends on how my exams are scheduled.
Just did a quick practice run at the Golden Corral. 3 pounds of steak and a huge plate of broccoli went down pretty easily. In about 20-20 minutes. The gyro should be a piece of cake. And by cake I mean pile of meat dripping with lamb grease.
