It’s weird how angry I get at kids being hurt or dying so young. It makes me sad too of course, but there’s an anger too.
Medical science is vital and one of the proudest achievements of civilization, but I’ve always been touched by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The idea of trying to help make some poor kid’s last bit of time a joy is one of the greatest examples of compassion.
I’ll have to donate to them tomorrow.
