Back in high school I had something similar to this. I would suddenly feel very light-headed, and my vision would narrow and fade. I had to sit down or else I’d fall down. Interestingly, I would always feel much better after taking a massive smash. I was on creatine at the time, and I was accidentally taking waaaaaayyyyyyyy more than normal.

The bottle said 3 teaspoons, but I read 3 tablespoons (somehow). Once I realized this, I lowered the amount I was taking and never got light-headed again. Of course, this doesn’t help if you don’t take creatine. However, it could be some sort of other digestive issue.
Thank you for single-handedly taking 2004 out of the running for ‘best T-Nation class’.

Are you listening to yourself??? Illegal drugs aren’t bad? C’mon…were just trying to help you. First you posted a very bad and concerning experience that happened to you, but because your not getting the responses you wanted were the bad guys? Thats just like someone saying Hey guys i lift and do heroin…the other day I passed out and coughed up insane amounts of blood…but no way in hell im going to a doc cause he’s just gonna tell me to stop my destructive habits"

You have GOT to be kidding me…are we all supposed to tell you what you wanna hear? illegal drugs are good keep doin em…and eating 1100 cals all the time is great too. geez. Im natty but my doc makes steroid jokes with me all the time…i could care less…i actually think its funny but that won’t stop me seeing a doctor. I can care less about his jokes…he helps with my health…isnt that the real issue?

SARCASM aside…im not going to tell you what you want to hear. Instead im going to tell you what you need to do. 1. See a doctor 2. See a conselor, anyone whos willing to die rather than go to someone more knowledgeable than them to solve a serious medical issue has ALOT of issues.

stop being insensitive, just because it’s the truth. let’s all sing kumbaya now…

You might be coming down with something. When I was a kid I past out when I had the flu. I’d go see a doctor if I were you, just to make sure everything is fine.

Also, for future reference, apparent means obvious
But he was saying it was obvious to him that it was apparent (visually obvious) to them.

I said it was an accident. Honestly, I don’t know how I read tablespoon as teaspoon. Do you consider me to be one of the more retarded posters?

I’m going to be totally honest: I’m not going to go see a doctor unless I’m taken in an ambulance. I know it’s dumb, but it is what it is. I’ve seen a lot of doctors because of my back problems and not one has been able to help me. In fact, they usually make it worse. I’ve learned they all know a lot about one specific thing and not much about the rest, but try to play it off like they do.

I’m gonna go in they’re gonna say: Stop lifting weights, eat a balanced, government-approved diet, do moderate cardio twice a week, don’t do drugs. Call me if you have any questions and here’s your bill.
There’s a difference between a doctor advising you of lifestyle habits and a doctor running tests for potential problems, such as low blood pressure/insulin/any of the things others have mentioned…

don’t mention weed, back pain or any of that unless you have to, and if they go on about “proper” diet then just say “yeah I’m doing that now” they’ll smile and nod, and get the tests done, then you can probably find out what went wrong, hassle-free.

hahahahahaha

I was picking my brother up from a check up and decided to talk to the doctor while I was there. He took my vitals and whatnot. Said my blood pressure was fine and my heart rate was super low; it was 47 or something. He couldn’t read it with a machine, so he used his Iphone to time a minute a measured it manually… I thought it was funny.

Anyways, he said I’m fine and to come back if anything similar ever happens.

Nah.

Now you are just making shit up so we don’t thing you are a window licker.

Way too transparent my man.

I fucking hate the “it is what it is” saying. No it isn’t what it fucking is dammit.

you’ve got the approach to Doctors all wrong, you use them like a tool. You get their opinion, investigate, and decide. You don’t HAVE to do what they say. Anyone who does not use a doc is like a carpenter refusing to use a hammer.

You ask the internet, you investigate, you ask real people, you ask a doc. YOU pull out what makes sense from everywhere. If a doc said your heart rate is 47 you bet i would be looking into that…actually, how did you not know this already? do you ever take your own pulse at rest before cardio? is 50ish normal for you? if you are never that low then something is happening, if you are always that low it might be OK. Are you on heart medication? that will lower your pulse.

Also, saying that you have been eating that way for 5 months so “it can’t be that” is false. Look at it in reverse, if a man has a heart attack and the docs say it is from eating crap, would it make sense to say “it can’t be that, I’ve always eaten that way”. Of course not.

The body is good at adjusting and compensating, but we all have a breaking point. Perhaps that day you hit yours, perhaps you have always been borderline “something” and that day you went over the line.

An anorexic eventually dies as does an obese person, just takes time to get there. Surviving yesterday does not guarantee survival tomorrow.
