Took a while to get to sleep last night but I never got the heart pounding here we f’in go feeling so, was totally comfortable just laying there a while. It was really weird… even when I was worrying about it, nothing happened. So I’d say the meds work. Or at least it feels like they do.
Another week down. It still creeps me out every time I check this thread and it’s been a week or three when it feels like it’s been like 2 days. Time flies I guess.
Anyways. I haven’t had any more full blown panic attacks, have had a time or two where I started getting the tunnel vision/freak out feeling but was able to concentrate on something else and get past it or take some of the beta blocker and I end up fine. I think I’m going to have to see an ENT doctor or something. I’m still pretty much always congested in at least 1 nostril. The only thing that is saving me is when I lay down on one side, one side clears up 100% so I can at least breathe fine through that one. But it still freaks me out sometimes when I can’t breathe through the other side. It’s almost like an itch I can’t scratch… trying to get air through the other side. I’ve been using Flonase just incase it’s allergy related and rinsing with the dexter sprayer but doesn’t seem to be helping. I’ve always had this issue to some degree, though it does seem a little worse lately. Not sure if that’s just me noticing it or if it’s actually worse, maybe the last round of Afrin abuse messed something up, I dunno.
I’m prescribed up to 40mg/day of the beta blocker but I’ve been taking 10 or 20mg maybe twice a week when I think I might need it. I seem to end up really really tired the day after I take it so I’m trying to keep it to a minimum. I’ve found I get to sleep initially easier when I take it, but I seem to sleep better when I don’t take anything, so that’s what I try to do. I wake up 2-3x throughout the night when I take that or CBD for whatever reason. I can always go right back to sleep, but normal for me is like 100% PTFO barely move at all don’t wake up for a house shaking thunderstorm level asleep, so it’s weird to wake up at all to me.
TRT wise I’m kind of in limbo deciding what to do. Do I take more? Take less? Stay the same? Inject the same and add cream? I don’t know. It doesn’t really make sense to me that TRT could suddenly start causing anxiety after I’ve been able to take 200mg+ at a time if I wanted to for the last year+ and barely be able to tell I had even taken anything. On the other hand, maybe something has changed and I’m more sensitive to it now, I’m not sure how that would or could even work. I skipped injections all last week and just used a little bit of cream every day (certainly not enough to replace what I was injecting) and by Saturday/Sunday I was super tired and run down feeling, slept almost 12 hours Saturday night/Sunday morning. Felt good and depressing at the same time. I took more T yesterday morning and feel more normal today.
I haven’t decided for sure but I’m leaning towards going from 210mg/week down to like 165 or 180mg/week and adding 25mg of scrotal cream every day to help make up the difference. That should work out to about the same, maybe with a little extra DHT. Or I may just be making it complicated by doing that when I could just inject a little more and be done with it. People seem to love the DHT libido boost though, so I’d love to get some of that.
Not sure what I’m going to do. I think I’m probably going to stick with 165 or 180mg/week (I inject 3x a week so it’s 55mg or 60mg per injection) and 25mg of cream per day and stick with that for a while for now.
I started HCG as an experiment. I’ve read that some guys feel better with test + HCG, and some guys don’t. Thought I would try it out and see if I’m one of the lucky ones. It’s an option if you’re looking to change some things with your protocol.
March or April I think? I was originally taking 500Iu’s 3x a week but been doing 200 daily for the last month or two. Not sure, I’ve never really been able to connect the crazy panic feeling to when or what I was injecting, so I dunno
Yeah. A lot of it is really subtle. I don’t feel any different on 200mg/week vs 750mg/week lol. My libido is falls off after 180mg/week or so. Best libido was at 150mg, but my mood is best at 200+. Also experimented with arimidex. I took 1mg/day for a week to get rid of burning nipples, but did not affect my mood or libido at all. Pretty crazy, some people can take 1/4mg and it fucks up their whole life for a month or two.
They just announced gyms are reopening here on Friday, finally. So I can give that a go soon. Out of town this weekend but next week I can start trying to pump up
Anyway what happened with you and the cream?
For me it didnt work. Either the cream sucked or my body cousnt absorb it because on 250mg daily my levels were disaster
I’ve been doing small amounts of cream plus most of my original amount of T, haven’t tested since I got cream so not really sure. You also tested at the wrong time and I don’t know if the cream you were getting was any good. This stuff had me at 1500+ and 40 free T last time I used it so it can def work.
Wrong time or not I woudlnt like my test levels to be that low any part of the day. And anyway I didnt feel well on that and there is too much work with that 2 times a day application in certain hours
Agreed. No point unless it works better than anything else… and even then it’d have to be quite a bit better for me to want to do that again. Once in the morning hasn’t been bad.
Also too much inconsistency. I got fucked enough by inconsistency only from the sub q injections and the cream route seems even more inconsistent. From now on I will stick only with consistent predictable methods
Just trying to document this. I’m still back and forth on the panic attack thing. Last night I literally don’t think I moved once I hit the pillow and didn’t have any meds, 100% fine, best I’ve slept in a while. Tonight I went to sleep around 11:30 and woke up 1:30am heart pounding and shaking. I still don’t know what’s kicking this off, no congestion or anything I’d normally blame it on.
It’s so frustrating sometimes being tired enough to fall asleep at my desk during lunch or on the couch watching TV no problem then not be able to sleep normally at night. I’ve been trying my best to not sleep or nap any other time and to keep getting up early so I’ll be tired by the time 10-11pm gets here but with less than 100% success.
Has anyone ever had it be linked to sugar intake? I haven’t 100% nailed it down yet but there’s at least twice it’s happened after a day where I had more sugar than normal, even for me. Has anyone ever seen or heard of this? Just did a little googling and it’s certainly not unheard of.
I’m just the neighborhood creepo walking laps around suburbia at 2am haha, no biggie.
Yeah. I get the same thing with certain carbs at night. For example, if I eat a lot of fruit before bed my sleep usually shit. Not always though, so that’s what made it hard to nail down for me. Try not eating carbs after 4pm or so and see if that helps.
Thanks and will do. I mean it seems like a long shot but 2 of the 3 times I’ve woken up like this I had a milkshake or ice cream right before going to bed, so maybe it’s related. I’m going to do no super sweet stuff in general and no carbs after 4pm and see what happens. I should also lose 5lbs overnight
