Ncsugrad's TRT Log / Diary

Eh, the stimulus stuff they’ve done has helped some people… it’s also been taken advantage of by plenty too. We’ll see how it plays out. Not much that gov’t does is very efficient. It’s still dumb to me that they’re allowing people to get MORE money through unemployment than they made at their normal job though. At least cap it at what they made previously on average before all of this.

For the business side, people that requested grants/loans early got pretty big amounts very easily. Millions in low interest loans went to big companies that don’t really need them, $10K in grants, etc… It’s tightened up now. If I had applied as soon as it was open I probably could have gotten $5-10K through a grant (i.e. don’t have to pay it back) just because of the “hardship” that I’m having with my rentals. i.e. people aren’t paying rent and I can’t evict them because of the current rules. But now it’s more like $1K max that I might get.

We’ll see I guess. I’ve got another 2 weeks off work… I’m about to call the unemployment agency and see where my money is at. Everyone pray for me, haha.

This seems more and more absurd. And the more I dig the less and less medical reasons I find for all this lockdown in the world.

Small update for me.

Nothing much new really… I’m starting to think I’m one of the ones that has better sensitivity on HCG after I got through the first week or two. I’ve gone from being super numb/lasting forever (not in a good way) pre TRT to now I’m borderline too quick again… finally, haha. I’m not complaining though, it’s a nice change. Morning wood is off the charts. It’s like being back in high school when taking a morning piss was super awkward because it was difficult to aim… I’m good with that too.

That’s about it. Probably no updates for a while unless something changes.

I’m still on 210mg/week, split Mon/Wed/Fri and 1500 IU’s of HCG/week, split Mon/Wed/Fri as well.

Whenever the gyms re open!

Thanks GOD the laws in my country are not so strict. If I had no access to a gym I would have gained 10kg for this quarantine…

Well I had to get on here and point out today is 1 year since I joined the forum–I started this thread a few days later. I remember trying HCG on my own a few months prior and actually started TRT in late June or early July 2019.

I can’t believe it’s been a year already, geez.

Do tell. I have 2 rentals in NC. They haven’t missed yet, just a little late and I’m not hitting anybody for late fees or any of that right now obviously, but I like free money.

I don’t think you’ll be able to get it if they haven’t missed yet (and I think the program has already used up all the money available also). Basically one of the federal business stimulus programs allows grants up to $1K per employee for any kind of impacts to a business due to COVID. One of my wife’s tenants haven’t paid at all since this all started so she applied for $1K for that (hasn’t gotten it yet) and one of mine moved out right when it started and I’m having a really hard time finding anyone to move in that is even close to qualified, so it will probably sit empty for a few months which is obviously a $1K+ impact, so they gave me $1K to help with that. I can’t believe they did to be honest but I’ll take it

When the program first opened they were doing up to $10K per employee but that didn’t last long

I can’t remember the name of the program–I’ll ask my wife. But I think the money is already used up now anyways. There’s a huge thread on reddit about it, I’ll find it when she gets off the phone

Cool. Maybe the second stimulus will open it back up a little, if it gets through. I use a manager (10% cost - totally worth it to me), so I can bug her.

Glad you feeling better! It seems your issues havent nothing to do whit prolactin or thyroid.
Is your numbness resolved man?

I agree it doesn’t seem thyroid related, though I do wonder about prolactin. It was up to 30 on the last test and I’m still at like a 36 hour refractory period a lot of times, which seems really long. I’m due for more labs soon, doc wants to see if it’s still at 30 (MRI time) or if that test was a fluke. We’ll see I guess.

I’d say 80% better? Maybe a little better the longer I wait? I still don’t have the “oh fuck that feels amazing and I’m barely going to last 20 seconds if I don’t concentrate on baseball” feeling I used to get before all of this started, but it’s way better than where I was a year ago.

Little bit of an update just because I feel different recently

I don’t know why, but for whatever reason I feel very stimulated the last week or so. It reminds me of when I very first started TRT. I’ve been going to bed later and still wake up before my alarm goes off somehow.

It’s strange. Almost feels like too much thyroid hormones (I think) but I haven’t taken any thyroid meds? Can HCG cause any sort of weird interaction with thyroid hormones? I saw a few articles talking about some interaction there but I don’t know how true they are.

I’m not quite jittery feeling but def. feel like I can’t sit still. I don’t know what else it could be. Part of me wonders if the HCG just recently started being effective at increasing my T levels further so I’m just feeling a little kick from that…

I’m due for lab work in the next week or two so I guess I’ll find out sooner or later

Do you guys think it’s worth the extra money to get the total T test that goes above 1500? I’d like to see where I’m at but it’s about $70 extra over the cheapo 1500 and under test.

Thoughts? I am leaning towards doing it at least once just to see where I’m at. I don’t know if I’m at 1501 or 2500 right now on total T. The doc is more interested in free T, for obvious reasons, but I’d still like to know. But it’s $70 for potentially useless information.

Never mind, I think I’m just going to do it. I blow that on Amazon crap all the time anyways. I just remembered my insurance covers the first $500 of any medical expenses for the year, regardless of what they are, so I can just turn it in to them and get reimbursed.

Has the hcg helped with penis sensitivity or make orgasm’s better?

This is how I feel when the weather changes and the sun starts coming out full force. I only need 6 hours of sleep to feel ideal vs 8 hours in the fall/winter. I wake up feeling energized. Could be a reason why you are feeling that way as well.

Definitely worth it at least the one time. Show the results to your girlfriend and tell her it’s your natural levels and that you can’t help that you were just born a fucking stud three times a normal man. She can tell all her girlfriends how much of an alpha you are and they’ll fantasize about you with their men. Seriously though yes it’s worth it to know especially if you’ve been on the same dose for a while.

I’ve honestly gone back and forth on the answer to that. First 1-2 weeks I was def worse, not unexpected though obviously. Then I had a few weeks where I was lasting about 30 seconds, and I didn’t hate it to be honest. Right now I seem to be back close to my TRT baseline as best I can tell. It’s so subjective it’s really hard to say for sure. In the back of my mind I’m considering either bumping the dose way up or down some to see if I get any improvements at a different dose… but I’m sticking with what I’m on at least until I get my next labs done and see where I be

There are def people that swear by it increasing sensitivity, etc. I saw a post on Facebook the other day where people were saying the negative of HCG to them is it made sensitivity so crazy they couldn’t last long at all.

Ah, maybe so. The mornings just haven’t felt as early lately, if that makes sense. I’m usually not a morning person in the least and I can sleep pretty much forever if I want but it’s been not terrible being up early once I’m up. It being bright af at 6am is probably part of it

The jittery part went away though after a week or so, I’m not sure what was going on there.

Haha, she already makes fun of me for starting to grow back and ass hair. Pre TRT I literally didn’t have hair on my legs, arms or chest, much less a few on my back. She’d get pissed because she had to shave and I was basically naturally hairless. I guess that should have been a sign that I was low on T.

I’m guessing total T will be 2000’ish. Last time my free T was mid 20’s but my SHBG might have came down more, we’ll see I guess. Actually I think I was taking 180mg/week when I tested last so it might go up a little. Maybe 30 for free T? The best I’ve felt was like week 8 on cream and my free T was almost 40.

As an experiment I’m going to have prolactin tested twice. Once after waiting a few days, then again right after bang time. I’m just curious how much it changes, and it’s only like $30 so whatever. If it’s 30+ again then the doc is going to want an MRI I believe
