I eat 3000 calories a day split between two meals. One at 4-6pm & one at 10pm. It’s one of those things that it takes a couple weeks for your body to get used to eating times and amounts. Your body will get used to whatever you do consistently.
I’m surprised you wait so long in the day to eat, man. When do you usually lift and go to bed? 10 pm is when I turn in.
We all know he’s banging randoms until at least 2am most nights, so that schedule makes sense ![]()
Just kidding, kind of…
I dunno, I’ve been doing it so long it’s just kind of normal for me. I think (assume?) my metabolism must have adjusted accordingly at this point or I’d be 140lbs. Though, I obviously had super low free T and I got down to 150 or a little under before TRT, so maybe all of those are related? Tough to say for sure at this point.
Will do on the book and other suggestions. I think adding something for breakfast or at least before lunch will help. I’m so used to not eating in the morning it won’t be much at first but maybe I can find something decently healthy that’s easy. I hate eggs so the normal egg’y breakfast stuff is out. Weird, I know.
Will do on the book, or something similar. I’m running out of house projects to do… insulated the garage today, might put up drywall tomorrow because why not? A book sounds like a good idea.
I’m 6’, so yeah not short or anything like that
Everyone will be pleased to know I was at 2400 calories today. Fast food lunch and cheesecake at dinner did me in. And I still didn’t eat anything for breakfast. Not exactly the nutritious food I should probable be eating, though.
I only drink a few times a year, so no issues there fortunately. I just don’t enjoy it enough for the day after effects to be worth it to me.
I remember seeing you post something about eating what was it, 2 or 3lbs of meat a day? Last time I made steaks I remember thinking the amount I was making for 2 people was less than you eat in a day by yourself. Pretty crazy
Another option is that you’re eating more than you think. Did you weigh all your food while counting calories? It’s really easy to under estimate the amount of calories you’re actually eating.
I’m 6’ and pre-trt got down to 150lbs eating 1800 calories/day and was losing at a rate of 2lbs a week, with a desk job and walking for 30 minutes a day. I guess it’s possible, but I don’t think your metabolism can shut down that much that you could eat 1450 calories on average and stay at 170lbs.
This was almost 10 years ago, and if I can give you one piece of advice from all the dieting and training I did, is that you shouldn’t worry about losing weight in the beginning. In fact if your motivation is low, don’t even worry about calories or eating healthy. Just start working out 3 days a week for 30-45 minutes. You’ll start to see changes quick and that will trigger motivation to make more changes as you go. Just don’t rush into it.
Im happy US economy is starting to recover. Because my pocket also depends on that ![]()
Is it true most of the registered unemployed in USA are temporarily unemployed? I cannot understand how it works there, like from your company they let you in unpaid vacation and you register as unemployed?
Why are you taking so much HCG?
I also felt tired from it the first two weeks but after that the side effects disappeared
Yes, most are temporary (in my opinion anyways).
Basically, here, for most “real” jobs, if you are laid off (i.e. not fired and you didn’t quit), which means you lost your job at no fault of your own, you can apply for “unemployment”. If you are approved, the state you are in will pay you a certain amount for a few months while you try to find another job. It’s usually like $300-400 a week.
When the whole Covid thing happened, the federal government added federal unemployment on top of state unemployment (which isn’t usually a thing), so that came out to another $600 or $650 a week, I can’t remember which. So, right now I’m getting $950 a week for doing absolutely nothing.
The messed up part is the federal government amount is for almost ANYONE laid off, no matter what they were making before. If you worked full time at McDonalds and made $300 a week and got laid off… now you’re getting $600+ a week, so yeah, no one in that situation is going to go back to work until they aren’t getting free money any more. It makes no sense to be honest but our leaders wanted money in people’s pockets so they could spend it, so they didn’t restrict the amount people could get. The state unemployment amount is usually calculated as a percentage of your income, up to $300-400 (whatever the max is for that state)
So yeah, that’s at least part of why the unemployment numbers are so high. Employers know people will be getting plenty of money, so they are even more OK with laying people off. And people don’t want to go back to work if they’re getting enough money for doing nothing… so it’s kind of a weird situation.
My company was a little unusual in that they gave me the option to use vacation time at full pay if I wanted to use that instead of getting paid less through unemployment, but I didn’t want to go that route since the pay from unemployment is much higher than it normally is. I figured this way I would get paid unemployment now and still have my vacation time for later ![]()
Trying to make babies yo!
I just wonder what kind of inflation will this unemployment money cause…
I don’t think the current stimulus is at risk of causing inflation - in the US at least. The USD is actually undergoing deflation at the moment. Our currency continues to fly off-shore as the rest of the world still sees it as a safe haven.
You’re European, though, correct? I imagine the circumstances may be different for you.
I usually lift around 830pm. I also don’t go to bed until 1am and wake up until 9am. It’s definitely not ideal for some looking to do bodybuilding but IF makes me feel so much better. I always have energy and just feel good. Back when I used to eat breakfast and lunch at normal times I would crash midday. I listened to a guy on Joe Rogan years back talk about intermittent fasting and he convinced Joe to do it. Joe spoke about how much more energy he felt which is what made me try it. Before that I couldn’t conceive of working all day without eating (or doing anything for that matter). Now I don’t even think about eating until I see the clock and realize it’s time to eat. I also don’t crave sugar like a full fledged addict anymore either. Probably not ideal for getting huge as fast as possible but for me the benefits have been great. Like TRT there is an adjustment period where you won’t feel ideal at first but as your body gets accustomed to it and adapts you start feeling like a different person. It’s like the body becomes more efficient. I know of a couple bodybuilder friends who fast on their off days.
Edit: forgot to hit send yesterday
Eh I wouldn’t expect it to do much at this point, in my opinion anyways. We’ll see I guess. It was a lot to add to our national debt but is what it is I guess.
Yes I live in Europe, but Im worried about the USA, because in my mind there is the real risk for the world economy. Im not economist, but I know your Federal Reserve printed like 3 trillion dollars or something like that so my simple logic is this decreases the value of a single dollar significantly.
Also I work for the USA industry and economy lets say(Im an IT) so Im concerned mainly about the situation in your country due to very selfish reasons ![]()
It’s basically clown world. We’re also significantly losing our constitutional rights over here and the lock-down makes no sense. How can you lock down people, yet allow them to accept packages from all over the world, or go to supermarkets with hundreds of people? Not only that but we’re all suppressing our immune systems which will make way more people susceptible from dying from a virus when the lock-down lifts. This doesn’t even include secondary damages from the lock-down like all time highs in suicide, child molestation, partner abuse, etc. Makes no sense we destroy everything for such low death rates and high likeliness to recover, especially without pre-existing conditions.
Yep. I see now we gravely mistakened our response to this virus although in USA there were a lot of deaths. But it seems the actually sick people are much much more than estimated
So I dont wanna be conspiracist but seems some group of people has interest in all that bulshit going on. Seems they will get much much richer from this. When you doubt about something always follow the money. Your guy over there Fauci is a very poisonous person and unfortunately seems Trump cannot remove him although he wants to. Bil Gates is also talking such a shit that if I see him accidentally on the street I literally wanna smash his head.
Public knowledge now that Fauci donated 7.4 million last year to the Wuhan lab to study bat coronavirus. Not only that but many reports show Bill Gates is the one that funded him.
Correct, follow the money and you’ll see the truth. Hint. The very poor are benefiting short-term and the very rich are the ones benefiting long-term right now. Sad that the vast bulk of the country allow themselves to get pushed around and lied to constantly. We’re like animals and will agree to anything out of fear.
I hope they are not planning crashing the world economic system but just to steal some billions
People would rather have a conspiracy theory than no theory at all.
Yep, it is hard to believe those in power can be so stupid and uncoordinated
