What’s your free t3 and t4 levels and tsh at? I would find a good Doctor that understands thyroid and gives dessicated not synthetic bs. Use stop the thyroid madness website I think they have a list of docs. Most good trt clinics and docs will do this.
If My ft3 levels were super low I would take 2 grains am and 2pm. Or start at 1 and make sure doc will look at symtoms as his gauge to increase dose. If 1 doesn’t do it they should give 1.5 and so forth until symtoms resolve.

FT3 is a little low, we want 4.0+
FT4 is low, we want it around 1.35-1.4
But your main problem is your high RT3, we want it at 9-10.

Try to get them as soon as possible.
The most common cause of high RT3 is due to low iron and inflammation (which you can see, if you have when you test your iron and ferritin levels).
I would recommend you to make sure to do the 2 tests before starting any thyroid medication, but if you want to start earlier than I recommend T3-only treatment until your high RT3 has fallen down (NDT contains T4 and you dont want more T4) AND you have found and fixed the cause behind your high RT3. (Which is my the iron values are important)

Doc approved going back to injections so I’m going to try that. I got the name brand vial this time even though it’s probably a waste of money over the compounded stuff but I just want to be sure there’s no possible way something is screwed up with the T itself (I know, highly unlikely).
Nipples itch like a mf’er today, first time that’s happened. If I weren’t about to change to shots I’d probably try a tiny dose of AI, if the itchiness continues. Still pretty frustrated by the lack of sexual sensitivity. Morning wood is next level but then I can’t feel shit.
Going to look into “that” site @dextermorgan and get some Thyroid stuff ordered to try too. I’ve read conflicting reviewed on the place I got the thyroid stuff I’ve been trying from… some say it’s great stuff, some say it sucks and the reviews are heavily moderated, so who knows
Now I get to go through another 6-8 weeks of up and down to change back to shots. I should have stayed on them from the beginning since I was finally feeling better right when I switched the first time but I saw so much positive stuff about the cream that I wanted to try it. Who knows, maybe the outcome would have been the same regardless.
Please trust me on this. You know I’ve showered the web on trt and speak to docs about this on the phone , via email and text. I’ve asked all the questions and that’s why I realize you don’t need to touch ai.
Here’s what happens. When we start trt we have water retention, itchy nipples and other weird shit goes on.
I can promise you it goes away absolutely after a few months. Itchy nipples should not be the cause for blocking e2 my friend.

Yesterday and today I’ve been putting half the dose on the back of my knees and half on balls like normal. I feel super jacked up today, like I did in the very beginning. It’s really weird but is kind of nice to feel like I’m actually taking T again. It’s almost too much though. I’m almost sweating like I’ve had way too much caffeine or something.
I have no idea why but it’s night and day from how I felt before changing. I would have thought scrotum would have absorbed better, who knows. It’s weird.
There is no reason whatsoever to believe that your thyroid is ‚suboptimal‘ or that you would benefit from thyroid hormone substitution.
Hey man, you’ve been jumping all over the place with gels and shots and HCG. You’re playing with a lot of variables. You’ve got a good idea of your injection dosage so it’ll be a lot easier. Give it two months and you’ll be back to good. Things seemed to be doing ok before you switched it up.
Eh. Yeah, they seemed to be ok about 8 weeks in on cream (haven’t ever used gel) then went downhill when I tried HCG, which may or may not be a coincidence. Annoying part is even with being super consistent on cream I haven’t gotten back to where I was. I’m hoping just a straight up simple injection protocol will help in another 2 months. It’s pretty depressing to think it might take that long before I feel good again though.
There’s something to be said about a good dose of not giving a fuk. It’s helped me tremendously.

Very true. I managed to have that attitude last night, wasn’t happening for me but she enjoyed it. I didn’t care, went to sleep without being an asshole and didn’t have any issues this morning. That worked a lot better than being pissed off about it all night and then trying to force it.
I don’t think I mentioned this earlier but the last week or so I’ve gone from only applying to scrotum to applying mostly to the back of my knees or tops of my feet (if I’m not going to be wearing socks) and it’s made a difference for the better.
I don’t know how. I don’t know if I’m just weird and didn’t absorb it well there or if scrotally was giving me levels TOO high for me or if I’m overly sensitive to DHT because of using fin/dut for so long, but I can feel it working again. I’m back to being oily, veins popping out in places they never have before TRT, I’ve lost 5lbs, libido is higher. I’m back to feeling it kick in an hour or two after application.
No clue how or why, but I’m going to finish up the cream this way I guess.
Still waiting on Defy/Empower for my prescription to switch back to injections. It’s pretty frustrating how long that process takes. I ordered last Thursday 9am, selected their fastest shipping option, and they haven’t even submitted the prescription to Empower yet. Every time I ask about it I get the “we are within our shipping window” covering their ass response. I don’t care. I’m not asking for it free, I just want it done. It can’t take 4 days to send in a prescription that the doc has already approved.
If I wanted to wait 2 weeks for T I could just order it from China for half the price.
