Ncsugrad's TRT Log / Diary

Yah I mistook e2 for free t. Remove hcg. When I take hcg it’s very low doses. Higher doses of cream, even doubling down doesn’t fix my sensitivity. Everyone is different. Hcg high doses sucks for me and make men.

Like danny said don’t take hcg if you don’t need to be fertile. Only take it when you need fertility.

Adding hcg increase free t , DHT and estrogen.

I was only taking 200 IU’s twice a week but I guess it still had a bad effect on me. Hopefully I’m back to good as new in the next few days.

Yes, I have been suffering from pfs for 2 years and 4 months. Symptoms include severe erectile dysfunction, libido loss and sexual anhedonia. As you say, my e2 is technically normal, but I have to make a new definition through comparison with other people.

I’ll be going to see a doctor in the urologist who’s well versed in trt soon. And I’m going to post a new thread.

Be sure you do as much reading as you can before seeing him. Well-versed in TRT can mean a lot of different things.

I tried 200 and it caused problems: I went to 150 and fine. Yes drop it.

Most docs that claim to be well versed in TRT are idiots. Learn everything you can before going. If they try to start you on less than 125mg/week, run. If they try to start you on clomid or anything like that, run. If they try to get you to take an AI, run.

Your symptoms do sound very much like mine were though and your blood tests sound similar too. I hope that means this could help you.

If you do start T, make sure it’s a high enough dose to do something and make sure you give it time. It took me nearly 8 weeks to start seeing improvements.

Good to know. K, dropping it for now

I’m not looking forward to it either. The doctors I’ve met so far have been a series of disappointments. They treated me like a madman.

Of course I will study hard. Clomid didn’t work for me. Likewise, I don’t expect AI to work. I think my condition is likely to improve only by trt. I’m sure fina ruined my hormone system. I had a galactorrhea in the early days of fina.

Wow, that’s crazy. I never had that happen, but I felt like I was shooting blanks there for a while in the beginning of taking it. Then I slowly over the years went back to normal then went beyond that to the highest libido I had ever had… then crashed early 2018. It’s insane to me it’s still legal as a cosmetic drug.

I agree. No need for an AI and with free T that low the only thing that will get it up is TRT in my opinion. Best of luck.

Really cool, found out that you can import LabCorp values into Apple Health and see a chart with your test history

nice I need to see how to do this. I love this.

Yeah it’s pretty neat. Only bad part is it won’t show my total T readings because of being over 1500 and not having an actual value so it just doesn’t show up on the charts

I found it somewhere in the health app. Health records then add another provider. Something like that. It’s on LabCorps website if you google it

I got to this screen but when I search for lab Corp doesn’t work

Not sure, are you on the latest and greatest iOS?

Yup I’ll try again when on WiFi.

I have the LabCorp app installed also. Not sure if that is somehow helping but figured it was worth mentioning. It’s basically just a portal to their website but who knows. I don’t know how the back end works.

A week? No wonder your wife is sore. Hope you took breaks.
