And all these dunks are pretty sweet.
Not expecting very many wins from the Wolves, but if LaVine can get in the open court once or twice a game that would at least be entertaining.

Don’t like that the Wolves want to try him at the point. I get that he’s skinny as a rope and he’s gonna have trouble initially with the physicality of bigger 2’s, but he is in no way, shape or form a point guard. I see him as a super athletic Jamal Crawford in the next few years. Again though, he’s gonna need to add at least 20lbs to his frame. That 82 game schedule’s gonna eat him up if he’s getting minutes.
This is obviously just an article from a source I’ve never heard of, but seems in line with everything else I’ve heard/read.[/quote]
The Wolves have expressed interest in Thaddeus Young too. That makes me think they are moving K Love, but aren’t getting someone like David Lee in return. Thus probably the Cleveland deal is happening. In the case the trade happens the Cavs will be a fun team to root against IMO.

I’m from Minny. People either don’t care about the T Wolves or have an interest in the team and hate pretty much all their decisions ever lol. I am not sure how I even feel about them drafting him. He will be exciting in warm-ups and in the open court, but I am not convinced he can play. Obviously they knew he was a project when they drafted him, but I felt like there we still players on the board with just as much potential that were already more developed. Why make take a higher risk player than you need to?
I agree not at point I see him as much more of an off guard. If he turns out like Jamal Crawford I would be very happy. Honestly though did not watch LaVine really at all in college. More of a Big Ten guy. Was hoping the Wolves got Gary Harris, but probably better for Harris they didn’t haha.
DRose looked good, very quick. I was impressed. Unfortunately the story of the night ended up being Paul George’s injury :(, just hoping for the best. Hate to see a guy get injured.
My opinion on the Eastern Conference has greatly changed. Much higher on the Bulls and the Pacers are in trouble.

NBA fans pretty depressed right now…

The description sounds Kevin Ware’ish as far as how gruesome it was, I have no interest in seeking evidence to confirm/deny that. So awful for this to happen, feel sick for PG and the Pacers.
I’d say it’s worse than Kevin Ware’s injury. Ware seemed to come down at a wrong angle and it snapped in a random freaky way with no other contact. George’s leg came down on the backstop and im not a engineer, but it was obvious you cant put that amount of weight, at that angle and not have a serious fracture. At the time i thought he had the wind knocked out him from the backstop, then they showed the replay…
That fact that George is a well known super star in the nba vs random college kid makes far worse imho. I literally felt sick watching.
Much respect to George taking it like a man, no screaming, yelling, crying, histrionics (floppers should take note)
