Judging by how long Brooks is sticking with Ibaka/Perk (6mins into 1st Q and counting), it looks like Brooks is unwilling to make adjustments and is stubbornly going to keep riding the same rotations that have lost 3 straight.
Sorry OKC fans, I don’t think that’s what the doctor ordered. I swear to god if Harden is still guarding LBJ in the post, I will begin believing I am a better NBA coach than Brooks.
Perkins has already had Bosh blow past hike twice… He has no business being out there.[/quote]
Also it puts Ibaka on Battier, who just camps out at the three point line, so it takes him out of position to help at the rim and block shots (the one thing he is really elite at on D).
Perkins blocked on a dunk. How fucking useless does he have to be to get benched? Brooks is more concerned about hurting his feelings than winning a fucking elimination game in the finals.
I can’t help but feel like this game is deceptively close. MIA is making a ridiculous percentage of their threes, OKC has rimmed out a crapload of easy buckets while looking like they don’t give a crap… somehow it’s only a 10pt game.
Don’t think it’s over yet.
Speaking of Brooks’s stubbornness… good to see Harden still flailing away on LBJ on defense. Put Sefolosha on him. Or Ibaka. Or someone whose last name doesn’t rhyme with Shmarden.
Since the theme of these finals has been officiating I will say that the first half was officiated well… The only bad call I thought was that lose ball foul on wade diving for the ball. That was pretty weak.
Someone should tell OKC they still have another quarter to play… Theyre playing like idiots. Lebron most likely will get his ring… Still hate him, but am happy he played his full potential
