Can this be over so I can get back to my mundane real life

Oh cool we’re still talking about things that happened a year or more ago.
Nah just me…still a reminder of why Lebron has changed his image from golden boy to villain, which is why even if he wins he will not be liked (for the most part) outside of Miami. I want him to win so the season could be over…
If the general public no longer sees Jordan as a gambler and Kobe as a rapist(not saying he ever did it), maybe one day they’ll forget about “The Decision” and appreciate James for the player he is on the court. For a “villain” he hasn’t been very villainous. He’s actually been very humble all things considered.

Personally I hate Jordan the player (not much of a fan of the man from what I know as well) and hate Lebron the player, but always will appreciate their talent. While his actions on the court may have not been overtly villainy (lol) he admittedly has no problem taking on the role. I dont think I will ever consider Lebron humble all things considered.
We’re about the same age so I’m sure you remember how Jordan was and I’m not surprised that you don’t like him. The guy was a dick and the most cocky player of his time. Sure Lebron is no Tim Duncan, but when you compare him to Jordan, Bird, Paul Pierce and some of the other greats he seems alot more humble IMO. I’m talking over the last year though. I think the his Finals performance against the Mavs had a lot to do with it.

LOL… Come on Sam.
Comparing MJ’s gambling (known fact) and LBJ’s douche move “Dicision” (known fact) to Kobe’s alleged rape charge (which was proven to not be true)???
Come on son!!! Hahaha
Nah man, I’m not comparing the actual actions. just the public’s perception. the whole "Kobe’s a rapist " was everywhere.
I never believed for a second that he raped that lady. But it did mess with his image. that’s the comparison I was going for.
I gotcha… I was just givin you a hard time.
Yeah, he didn’t rape her, she just wanted a pay day.
To clarify I don’t think he raped her either.
I’m just saying it’s silly to say it was proven not to be true. He was acquitted in the criminal trial settled out of court in civil trial. He also publicly apologized.
Wizards trade 2nd round pick and Rashard Lewis (expiring contract) to NOH for Okafor/Ariza.
This is a real headscratcher to me from Wiz perspective. They already have one veteran mediocre undersized center, and Ariza is just god awful (he had one good stretch of 20 or so games in the 2009 playoffs but has done nothing before or since).
From NOH perspective, they had no need for Okafor with Davis about to be drafted, so they shed some long term salary for a guy they will buy out. Like it for them.
Whatever happened to that guys Tim Donaghy? The ref who got in trouble for gambling on basketball, and ended up exposing a bunch of stuff about the league.
He pretty much said that the NBA used officiating to determine the outcomes of playoff series’.
Not to mention this year a couple of players pretty much hinted at the fix being in with Miami.

Interesting stat: Not only has no team come back in the finals from a 3-1 deficit, no team has ever forced a game 6 down 3-1 in the finals.
teams are 30-0 since the 2-3-2 format
That stat can’t be correct.
I definitely remember Barkley’s PHO squad winning Game5 on the road and forcing it back to PHO for Game6 (where Paxson would hit the game-winner)
Also, 2008 Finals had LAL winning Game5 at home and sending it back to BOS for an ugly blowout.

Yep, just head it in a video blog and they corrected it in the comment section.
“No team down 3-1 has ever comeback to win the series (30-0). And also, not one of those 30 teams that were down 3-1 has ever taken it to 7 games â?? 6 games, yes, but not 7.”
He completely fell off the map since the Finals and hasn’t even had a double digit point total yet.
He only had 4 games all season without scoring double digits!
James Harden just hasn’t found his rhythm. It’s his first Finals so I can’t fault really him for being totally overcome by the moment. There’s nothing much to talk about him anyway.
But I want to briefly address this little mini-argument about Kobe or whatever its about. First of all, I have no doubt Kobe did NOT rape that woman. That said, he still deserved hefty public backlash and criticism for cheating on his wife, and getting caught in some disastrous circumstances. Some guys, like Kobe, just don’t know how to cheat and quietly sneak in that little ‘free time’ from marriage. Dude got caught again last year and he had to pay half - literally. Kobe is shady dude no doubt. People say he likes to keep to himself so who the fuck knows what he’s into.
Oh and Skip Bayless had a gem today (yesterday). He gave Westbrook a 7/10 for his Game 4 performance and said he played “wild.”

Ok so there are only four possibly outcomes to this series…
Miami in 5
Miami in 6
Miami in 7
OKC in 7
What’ll it be? Predictions.
Heat will win it tonight. Durant and Westbrook look devastated after that last loss. I don’t know if they’ll have it in them to pull it off tonight. If they get some bad calls early on, they might just fold.
I originally had OKC winning in 6 I believe. Oh well.
