NBA Playoffs 2012

Halftime coaching adjustments FTW

I’m at the Jays-Nationals game right now and the Jays are down big.

The section beside me started chanting “OKC! OKC! OKC!” sarcastically

Made me laugh

How do you feel about Tyler Moore hitting his first and second career homers against them? Haha

Wondering if anyone agrees with me, I think there was a textbook example of home crowd reffing last night. OKC has possibly the loudest, most intimidating crowd in bball. And in the first half, on that double technical, I honestly have no clue how they could call Battier for a Tech on that play.

IMO their thought process was “holy crap these fans will eat us alive for calling a tech on Westbrook, but he voleyball-spiked the fucking ball so we can’t call nothing, let’s just call a double T because we have to call something”.

Should have been Free Throw plus Ball for the Heat.

Not answering that, that’s a clown question bro.

Have you watched a lot of OKC home games? That stuff always happens. I know posters have been complaining about OKC getting favorable calls all playoff long but they have… ESPECIALLY at home.

They definitely have the loudest fans/crowd in the NBA… They’re like a college team with how “up” the fans stay for almost the entire game. That building gets rowdy. My buddy lives in Oklahoma an went to a playoff game their last season and he said it was insane how loud it was in there. He’s trying toget tickets for this series from one of his clients. If he does I’m flying out there for the game. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Just met my first NBA athlete walking home from the game. Passes Ed Davis and said “hey it’s Ed Davis!”

He said “what’s up man?”

Didn’t bother with a pic

Have people already forgot about Wade telling spo “get the fuck out of my face” on the sideline during the pacers series? and That’s just what the cameras picked up, god knows what else was said.

Those players dont have an ounce of respect for spo, and he couldnt coach his way out of a brown bag.

I hope and think the heat are going to get thumped by the sonics, eeerrrr thunder. Brooks showed he is a hell of a coach, KD is the man, and the heat just can match up. [/quote]

You are absolutely correct!!! He has brought a team to the finals two years in a row. WTF is he doing coaching in the NBA!!! Someone like you would be sooooo much better. GTFO and hit the gym cunt…

To be fair the Heat would probably have made the finals with any coach in the NBA.

They have the best player in the league, and two other top 5 players at their positions in Bosh and Wade. Plus the East was WAAAAY down in the playoffs. The Heats biggest competition lost two of its top players (including last years MVP) to injury and the Magic lost Howard.

It should hav been a cake walk to the finals for the Heat.

butthurt much? it’s cool tho, and yes i could take any team with 3 top 10 players to the finals out of the east 2 years in a row. I can give spo a break because outside those 3 guys, nobody on that team would get minutes on any other top team.

Also, dont act like the heatles had to play/beat a healthy Bulls team, and the celtics were also banged up.

I’m not a big fan of Spoelstra either and agree with you on that. They couldn’t even finish #1 in the East while a Bulls team who played without their best guy for 20% of the season took it for the 2nd straight year.

With a healthy Bosh, I don’t think it would’ve been a 7 games series against Boston and he would’ve been a big factor in the Pacers series as well. Combine that with Wade playing like shit half the time and you’ve got a terrible playoff performance this year.

I missed game 1 because I was on a long flight with not TV (fuck you United Airlines). I can’t wait for tonight. The Heat need to steal a home game and it has to happen tonight.

First

Then

So they only have 3 guys, 1 of which they lost. Pretty big deal if you ask me. If you actully watch the Heat games, you’ll see the run alot of their offense through Bosh even if he only scores 18 game. They need him out there. So if your going to talk about injuries and “banged up” teams, lets at least acknowledge how much losing Bosh changed things for the Heat.

^^Bosh definitely makes the Heat a much better team.

It’s hard for me to see this happening (considering the NBA isn’t as cutthroat as the NFL) but if Miami loses this series they should shop Wade. They could greatly improve their team with a potential trade without losing much considering James is basically a better version of Wade.

If they don’t win it next season I see this happening potentially but I think they’d be dumb not to see what’s out there for Wade if they lose this series IMO.

Sign and trade, Wade for Howard.

I don’t think it’ll happen next year either. Even if Wade plays like shit, they’ll somehow blame the coach for it and can him. But the year after? Maybe.

I like the Heat because of Wade so maybe they can ship him to Knicks for Bibby(again) , Landry Fields and Toney Douglass (sorry MattyXL). Then my basketball fan dreams can be complete. One can dream right? lol

Unrelated, I wore my D-Wade jersey to walk around the park today. I can’t believe how many people in NJ want the Thunder to win. Everyone in my part of NJ has a cousin in Florida (50% Hispanic) so we usually have a lot of Miami football and basketball fans up here. People yelled things like “Wade Sucks!” and “Go Thunder” out of there car at me too haha. Let’s see what happens when I wear it to the sports bar tonight.

Putting Perk on Battier was a wonderful move by Brooks. So far has paid off huge

what is with these stupid trophy intros to the game after the commercials? they basically just show every player having sex with the trophy.

So happy to see all these charges on Harden. Harden draws the most bullshit fouls

Not shocked they cut it to 8 with Perk out. He has killed them this game. Brooks leaving him in on pure stubbornness

Kd should’ve fouled out bs
