NBA Lockout

Too late Kobe…

Wish I coulda watched the game last night.

I read a nickname for Ryan Anderson of the Magic, and I will henceforth refer to him only as “The Grenade Launcher”

Watching the replay now.

Christ LAL has played dirty in the last 2 games I watched.

Matt Barnes basically punched dirk in the face for a flagrant.

In this game McRoberts goes after Lebron’s head and neck.

Just finished the first half. This game ain’t close (don’t know the final score just that MIA won)

Well that was a raping.

Didn’t realize how poor a record the Lake show has on the road: 1-5??

The Raptors have a better road record at 2-7 if you calculate it into percentages.

So who is going to win tonight, Orlando or Los Angeles?

Apparently Vanessa Bryant got $75 MILLION from Kobe… half his worth. DAYUM.

About the only thing she didn’t get from him was a pass in the open court.

ORL. I would pick whoever was at home.

I’m sure he gave it to her without a fight. Not saying it’s a fair settlement, but what can you honestly do with 150M that you can’t do with 75?

I dunno man. Does Kobe seem like the kind of guy who wouldn’t always want more?

True enough.

If I were to venture a guess, they likely laid out an agreement after he was caught 2003. If he cheated again he would have to give up half his shit to her. He was probably caught again. So in that sense, the always wanting more attribute worked against himm

they made the 10 year mark. in CA that means he gets half his shit. it is what it is. he shoulda listened to his parents.

I read somewhere that she waited until just a few months after the 10 year mark to file the divorce knowing it would mean she got a shitload more money.

This kind of thing shouldn’t bother me, I don’t even like Kobe. For some reason it just infuriates me when these cheap hoes who have lived lives better than they or 99.99% of the population could ever dream of, never had to work a day in their life and have no real talent or ability rob these guys for every cent they can get.

How good the marriage have been after he was caught cheating and charged with rape?

That would be pretty maniacal to wait 8 years to divorce a guy just so you can get half his money.

Yeah, sometimes (read: most of the time) you need to listen to your parents. Jelly Bean Bryant knew that chick was bad news.

The Lakers are going to get another big name eventually. The only question is how soon. Deron Williams just made his own wishlist and if the Lake Show don’t get Howard expect the Lakers to go after Williams religiously. The only kick is he also said he wants to be a Mav, which just tells you how much of a attractive destination Dallas has become.

so frustrating that LA doesn’t have any legit scoring threats other than kobe, bynum and gasol. or seems to have anyone that can put up numbers consistently for that matter. we need a new pg.

i know someone was talking about lebrons inability to shoot well, h/w he seems to be shooting pretty well here. - YouTube

lebron seems to be getting better and better.

fyi, im a kobe fan.

2 things)

  1. Someone has to say it: How on God’s green earth is Derek Fisher still starting in the NBA? You may as well start a traffic cone.

  2. Anyone else watching the Lakers-Magic game? They lobbed it to Kobe who was wide open for the oop and didn’t jump high enough to get the dunk. It cracked me the hell up.
