Wouldn’t be shocked if they got the Bills

Saw this a couple of days ago. Had no idea white had bounce like that, but he’s nowhere best the best dunker in the league. My vote goes to JR Smith, who’s the only guy I’ve ever seen who’s just as explosive off of either foot or both feet. DeRozan, Nick Young, Iguodala, Brandon Jennings (trust me), Jerryd Bayless, etc… I could name probably 20 more dudes who can do some absolutely ridiculous shit. White did do some damn impressive stuff though.
Nick Young?? I’ve been to a bunch of wizards game and he’s never had close to an impressive dunk.
This is just a sample. Young can do some absolutely ridiculous shit.

Very impressive… but why the hell is that labeled a 360? He takes off with his chest facing the other baseline and ends with it facing the one by the hoop. 180.
Still though, would never have thought that with the game he has. Iso pull-up fadeaway jumpers are kinda his thing.

Same reason “540’s” are really “360’s”. There are very few people who do legit 360’s, and there’s never been anyone to do a legit 720, despite what AND1 tries to tell you.
Not sure what Young’s deal is. He’s crazy talented but I think he’s lazy. He seems content to shoot 19 foot turnarounds and ill timed 3’s over using his athletic ability to open up the floor for himself. The most frustrating guy in the league to me though is JR Smith. Best dunker in the league, deepest range in the league, has a serious handle and has way better vision and passing skills than people realize. I honestly believe that out of all the young(er) guys in the league, Smith is the most talented. Problem is he’s a knucklehead and doesn’t want to put in the work to be elite.

No, not really.
The Lockout is over

I was debating starting the 2011-2012 season thread, but given how this lockout has gone, I figured I’d wait till the two sides had voted. Lookin like games starting on xmas though.
I’m shocked, I thought the season was done. woot.

It was one of their target dates. I think it’s their biggest day ratings-wise of the regular season.
66-game condensed schedule is gonna be crazzzzy

I also think that this “plantation slave/player v. master/owners” analogy espoused by Bryant Gumbel and picked up and parroted by others is low, shameful and pandering to the race card. As if this dispute is about race and not revenue/business. Gumbelfuck should be called to the carpet for his irresponsible remarks the same as any white talking head if he dared say something as outlandish.
Bryant G(r)umble has always been, and always will be, a condescending egotistical dick. Even back in his early days of doing the NFL. His brother Greg doesn’t come across the same way, though.

I bet they’re trying to come up with as many play-on-word commercials as possible, letting us know about the “presents” that we’re going to get on Christmas Day.
Thought the season was lost, this is a huge surprise. Apparently training camps start on the 9th and opening day is Christmas. Wonder how many dudes are gonna come into training camp completely out of shape?
Kinda funny, but on the ESPN web page there’s an ad where money is flying around the screen and you see a pic of the deal being broken.

But why hasn’t he been called to the carpet for these outrageous remarks? I’ll tell you why. Because he’s black.
Guaranteed %50 of the nba players will look like a mix of Oliver Miller and Shawn Kemp (Post Sonics days)
^ Haha. Thank God the NBA is back, I thought I was gonna be stuck watching Hockey and College Ball all winter.
Man I enjoy most other sports but nothing tops NBA basketball for me. Yes!
hoooorayy for real basketball
Yeah Im pretty psyched, Im curious to know the specifics of the deal especially with concern to player movement.
