NBA Lockout

I like Lamar Odom a lot - outside of his actual game, he appears to have a very laid back personality off the court.

That being said, his game has a lot of duplication of talent with Dirk.

With Chandler, you had the one guy who didn’t give a shit whether he ever took a shot but played locked down defense. Dirk demands the ball, is a big man with range, plays okay defense and rebounds a little. That same dynamic really isn’t there with Odom-Nowitzki.

I’m not sure how it will work out

[/quote]

Disagree with this completely. People forget that when Odom came into the league he was dubbed “New Magic”, as in Magic Johnson. He handles the ball incredibly well for a guy his size, and works well either out at the top or in the post. Odom can be used as a point-forward and will have no problem getting Nowitzki the ball where he needs it. And, when his head’s in it he can get his too. Obviously, losing Chandler means Dallas lost their biggest piece to the championship puzzle, but Odom is a nice addition. Dallas is no longer a contender though. And, if by “laid back personality” you mean “queer as a 3 dollar bill”, then you’re right.

Queer as in gay?

I saw the candyman bit as well as a couple of his interviews. He seemed pretty laid back.

Yep. Not that it matters either way, but that dude is light in the loafers and it has nothing to do with an unnatural love of candy.

Bibby to the Knicks on a 1 year contract, ehh hes just about done, but its certainly an upgrade from what they had. Knicks trying to work out a sign and trade to get Crawford back, that would have me stoked, always liked him especially in a 6 man role. If this happens a bench of Douglas, Crawford, Jerome Jordan, Shumpert and Josh Harrelson could be pretty good.

I never heard this Odom gay thing, maybe cuz hes married to a possible man may explain this however.

Haha, it’s nothing that I’ve heard, just his mannerisims and demeanor. Always thought Magic was gay, too.

Yeah that kiss with Isaiah kinda sealed the deal for me with Magic!

Magic was fucking bitches 5-6 at a time. He had huge parties that included group sex upstairs. Now, he may have been bisexual, but he certainly wasn’t “gay”. I think that he “earned” his HIV the hard way, like Easy-E - by sheer numbers.

The only people I’ve ever heard say this is Magic himself and Arsenio Hall. I’d bet the keys to my car that Magic is gay.

Mavs have lost Butler and Chandler, although only Chandler was an essential piece of their playoff run. However, they’re still contenders and we don’t know what further moves they’ll make. People were saying they weren’t contenders this past season. Every current champion is a contender.

I knew someone in the league that played for the Clippers at the time and he’d been to the parties. There was a velvet rope roping off the upstairs. Magic would routinely go up with multiple women. True story. Common occurrence. Well known in those circles.

If they can snag Dalembert they won’t miss a beat. Haywood is atleast 75% of Chandler and Dalembert is another good athletic defensive C. Shit before last season, Dalembert’s market value was higher than Chandler’s. Vince Carter will be solid taking over Peja’s role off the bench, Roddy B is light years better than Barea when he’s healthy and Odom will let Dirk/Marion play significantly less minutes. They can slide Dirk to the 5 and play Dirk/Odom/Marion/Terry/Kidd to close out games. That’s a very solid lineup, good size and good scoring.

Plus Odom/Vince Carter are only 1 year deals, they’ll expire along with Kidd and Terry. Kidd will probably retire and Mavs are in perfect position to sign Deron Williams next season. Depending on how things turn out they would also have pieces to trade for Dwight.

Rumor is Cuban took Odom to fuck over the Nets. Now the Lakers can make easily the best offer for Dwight, and if he goes to LAL then there’s no way Deron resigns with NJ.

And Hugh Hefner watches gay porn to keep his dick hard while he fucks 19 year old playmates. What’s your point? Just 'cause you heard something doesn’t make it so. Magic talks and acts like a homo. There’s nothing wrong with that, but everything about the guy screams “gay” to me.

I’m watching clips of Magic, I just don’t see it.

Wow.

It turns out Lamar was so hurt by being involved in the proposed CP3 trade he asked to be traded.

Uh, there was kissing Isiah Thomas ON THE MOUTH on national tv, his calling Rex Chapman “sexy Rexy” multiple times while all the other players around him got uncomfortably quiet after they were all cracking jokes(on an old NBA vid, don’t remember which one), and his mannerisms, not to mention the fact that he has a disease most commonly associated with homosexual sex. I even have an ex who’s mom quipped “he’s so gay” in reference to Magic when he was doing inside the NBA, to which I told her is always thought that as well. Honestly, we’ll probably never have any way of knowing for sure. But, I believe 100% that Magic prefers the company of men.

Sounds like you’re speculating heavy there W.F while simultaneously blasting rumours. But then again why does it even matter? Earvin Magic Johnson is the greatest Laker of all-time, let’s not forget that.

Alright, I didn’t know Dalembert was a free agent and the Mavs were after him. If they get him that would definitely be a major piece in their roster that would allow them to be successful.

The most important factor on how well they will do this season will of course be Dirk’s play. If he’s “in” or “on” then they always have a chance.

CP3 is going to the Clippers.

CP3-Butler-Griffin will be deadly.

Can’t wait until Clippers > Lakers

As usual, you’re interested in going in circles. I know someone who was THERE, frequently. If you want to call him gay, fine. I wouldn’t rule out bisexual, but gay is a stretch based on what I have been told BY THOSE THAT KNEW HIM. This would include a player that was regularly at his parties (which were epic) and at least a dozen players in the league at the time.

Then again, you’ll have some retort b/c you know something or other about Hugh Hefner, you saw Magic kiss Isiah (like we all did) and god knows what else. I guess you do know best. Thanks.
