The way that half ended could literally decide the series. That was huge for the Spurs.

You spur fans know nothing about basketball. The heat dominated you guys and lebron james didn’t even play well. Not to mention green was out of control beyond the three point line and you still lost by 15+. Keep thinking that old man duncan and ginobli are going to get their ring, they were both invisible this game.[/quote]
Hey, whats your excuse now, resident basketball genius?
LOL Miami blown out even harder than they did to Spurs and now the spurs up 2-1
And Parker and Duncan didnt even play well. ![]()
So much for your Miami 4-0 prediction huh.
Commence face-saving.
Danny Green just broke out during the Finals. For how many guys can you say that?
A star is born?
Where’s that salty jabroni at?
This series is confusing.
40 dollars for a pair of socks is fucking retarded. I’m with Red, my no show game is on lock. I’ma check out the Kobe’s.
That was one of the most one-sided basketball games I’ve ever seen. It looked like the Spurs were playing really tall 6th graders. Fully expect next games to be more competitive, but I think this is gonna fuck with Miami’s head, collectively. Wade is the only dude on that team with any real fire, and he’s too broke down to really make a difference. James ran for help in Cleveland, ran to help in Miami, and looked for help all night. When his team was getting their asses handed to them, he shrunk. I don’t care what he does from here on out. Jordan and Bryant would’ve gone down swinging. James needs someone to swing for him.

Haha, that kid has to either be a troll or some immature high school kid who knows nothing about basketball, either way Spurs up 2-1 and looking GOOD!!!
Danny Green press conference was awesome. Kid is humble and super honest, and just on cloud 9 enjoying having the game of his life on the big stage.
My favorite quote(something a lot of NBA players wouldn’t say, not that they aren’t thinking it): “…and hope they keep struggling.”

I said in last years thread that Green is the best shooter I’ve ever seen in person, and that’s still the case. His jumper’s set on auto.

Took him awhile to find his spot in the league, probably adjusting to the better defenders/more contested looks, and learning to play at least something comparable to defense(his has gotten decent actually, but early on it was non existent), but he’s finally turned into a legit player, and this series is making him look like the next generation’s Steve Kerr.
Ok I admit I have said some very ignorant and stupid comments in this thread, but that’s just because I like to talk shit. Anyways that was a weird game tonight. Lebron didn’t go to the free throw line one time. It just seemed like the game flew by.
Also how insane is mike miller??? 8/8 in the finals for 3-pt shooting. Taking into account last years final he is 15/19 at the three point line.

Honestly don’t remember him being that kind of shooter at Carolina, and think he played either overseas or in the D-League. He’s definitely found his niche, and he can put it on the deck and get his shot when needed. The kid who’s impressed me most so far is Leonard. His defense, rebounding and ability to make something out of basically nothing is no joke, and was a big factor in tonights blowout. He had the clamps on James.

I think it was more so Lebrons shot was just off tonight. He was giving lebron room to shoot.

LOL, cant say too much about that without looking like a hypocrite as ive been known to talk shit for the sake of it myself.
It was definitely a weird game, but so was game 2. This series has been fuckin way crazier than i ever expected so far.
Who wants to try and call game 4? ha
Some NBA Finals trivia.
Without looking it up (who am I kidding here?), who is the only NBA Finals MVP to not win the championship the year they won the award?

I think SA wins game 4 and then loses game 5 to send it back to Miami.
It could easily just go back and forth but I fully expect a 6-7 game series.

Never saw Green in person, but when I saw Curry live, I was like “Dammmmmnnnnnn”

It is. He also viewed it as a backhanded compliment. And no, I didn’t need to look that up.
Correct!
Well done if you didn’t cheat
