LMAO, just curious if this guy is going to appear in this thread after that bold prediction.

I had a good feeling through this whole game. Even though Spurs trailed pretty much the whole time, i really felt that if they stayed within a couple shots of the Heat that they would turn it up in the fourth and show Lebron the meaning of clutch, and that they did. What a great game. Im gonna think of that fourth quarter the next time i jerk off.

What a game, I hope this series goes 7 so we can see more like that. I don’t care to break down anything analyst style right now, enjoyed it too much on pure entertainment value.

Haha, gtfo here you nerd! Check my prediction a few posts up! How ironic you mentioned Parker and he killed the Heat tonight especially with that last shot.

Anyways… Spurs looked great tonight. The whole game they couldn’t get over that little hump and hit a wide open jumper to take the lead. Leonard missed two straight wide open shots and lost his confidence. Parker eventually got that steal and foul that lead to the free throws putting them up 1. After that they were good to go! Keep it up!!!

Parker on one knee with his back to the basket and shot clock under :02 = wow

Also, four total turnovers by SA = wow

Yeah, combine Tony Parker’s play with all the missed open 3’s they should’ve made and this game wouldn’t’ve been as close

With the rest of the stats being as close as they were, the extra steals, blocked shots and the scarce turnovers made a huge difference.

After reading this post again, the hilarity of this statement finally set in.

lulz

Norris Cole might be the heat’s second best player right now, but he’s not stopping tony parker.

Being second best to Lebron is no small feat, but its not so impressive when you have to rely on your other teammates to play like shit. (relatively speaking)

Awesome game. The Spurs aren’t getting 4 to’s again, but Green, Neal and Leonard aren’t missing all those open shots again, either. Told a buddy of mine that Green (and this applies to Leonard and Neal) are the x-factor(s) for the Spurs. If they hit the deep ball off the kickout, this is gonna be a short series. Spurs in 5.

The heat lost because spo had lebron and wade on the bench to start the 4th. I know they need rest but this is the finals and I think that was a terrible move. Anyways heat win in 5.

Wasn’t Spo’s fault. In the post game interview, lebron said he needed a break.

Im going Spurs in 6. They can put up a better performance than they did in game 1, and i think they will in game 2 to establish a 2-0 lead that sets the tone for the rest of the series.

Remember, the Finals are 2-3-2. I can see Miami getting a game, but if they come to Texas down 2-0 the Spurs close it out here.

Hey, i’d love to see it end in 5 as much as the next guy. My guess though is that Stern will do everything possible to make this a 7 game series though. I dont think Spurs will allow it go that far.

No argument here on the Stern angle, I just think the Spurs are that much better than the Miami Sterns. They were the best team last year (but Stern wanted “dynasty” matchups so he pushed OKC), and they’re the best team again. They should rename the coach of the year award “The Popovich”.

I hope you’re right.
