What about Battier (sp?) jumping up off the ground like Ginobli just harnessed his inner Spoto and bench pressed him across the court lol
That one was funny.
The thing is, the new flopping rules will have ZERO impact.
Unless they dish out much stiffer fines and quicker suspensions it won’t make a difference.

I was scrolling to see if anyone answered. I’m fairly confident it was Dream, like a 90:10 guess, a sort of ‘if it isn’t him who the fuck was it?’ sort of guess.
I just assumed WF was being a homer, as I had done with the rookie Earvin.
But no question, Dream is on the 1st-team of ‘best/freakiest athletes’ to ever lace em up.
Regardless of if the Spurs win the championship or not, Manu Ginobli, whether he retires after this series or next season, will go out a champion. He just showed us today what a champion really is. It’s about overcoming adversity and producing at the exact moment you need to, for yourself and your team, especially in the circumstance where you’ve been playing below your potential or expectations. He’s going to retire with hopefully 4 well deserved rings.
I see Miami winning game 6 and then the Spurs pulling out a close game 7.
Ginobli, Parker and Dunken retire as champs.
LeBron punches Dwayne Wade at mid court after the final buzzer.

For what? Stepping up and outplaying him when it really matters? He’s been great the last 2 games. Lebron isn’t even playing like a top 10 player. The best play I’ve seen him make is when he had that quick post up on Danny Green and he turned and released it quick. If his outside shot is off why doesn’t he do more of this? I’m not talking about that post up 15 feet from the basket and pound the ball into the floor 10 seconds giving time for help to come over and then shooting.
Just curious if all you guys who complain about officiating think Miami got the benefit of the calls in that last game 5?

Game 5? No. Game 4? Hell yes.
But i agree that Wade has stepped up big in the last 2 games. He was a no-show before that though.
As long as the Spurs big 3 all have good games i think we are done after tonight. If even one of them under-performs though this is going to game 7.

Wade isn’t outplaying James.
Wade APPEARS to be playing better but that is just in comparison to how completely garbage he’s been lately.
He is finally playing like he should.
LeBron has carried this team.
Wade just appears to be playing amazing because he sucked so bad before, just like Ginobli.

I’m only talking about the last 2 games which is clear in my post. He definitely is outplaying him the last 2 games both on offense and defense. He’s also well above his own averages for the season as well. You can’t really say the same for James when he’s going 8-22 and the defense is just letting him shoot open jumpers.

Cool , just doing a sanity check lol
I see what you’re saying about Wade but I don’t think he outplayed James in game 4, game 5 is closer I guess.
As far as officiating goes, Miami got the lions share of the calls in game 4 like others have said but game 5 it seemed like Miami didn’t get a few of the calls that they usually get, like those transition layups that were contested.
It seemed like Miami was expecting the balls but didn’t get them. I honestly can’t say if they were missed calls or just good defensive plays? Either way, Miami always gets those calls when it’s wade or James attempting the contested layups and they didn’t get 3 or 4 is them last game.
Miami’s still getting obvious ref favoritism, but (outside of Wade) they’re letting them play more than normal, and it’s completely fucking with James’ game. He’s so used to getting bailed out EVERY SINGLE TIME, that now that they’re actually not just granting him ft’s every time he bulls his way to the bucket, he doesn’t know how to play. He’s being exposed as the overrated “golden child” that he is. Every generation the league manufactures a new “chosen one”. James is this generations “it”. He just plain doesn’t have the game or the will of his predecessors, and without CONSTANT ref bailouts, it shows.
