NBA Finals 2013

Oh oh Miami is going to have to earn a spot in the Finals.

The look on Haslem and cos faces at the end of Game 6 suggested the Heat almost expected to win that game. Stephen A Smith and Skip Bayless were wrong when they said the Heat would win this series in 6 (Skip actually said 4 or 5) but they were right when they said this was Miami’s last chance to win a title with their current roster. Today’s game especially highlighted the Heat’s deficiency on the front line, which they will have to prop up to be competitive in the East next year and beyond. Forget about those automatic trips to the Finals. Indiana and Chicago are going to be right there to keep the Heat modest. And if the Pacers win Game 7 in Miami this series, Pat Riley and Zo are going to have situation on their hands.

With that said, if LeBron takes over in Game 7 and leads the Heat to a championship these Finals against the Spurs, it will be a major boost to his legacy. This is the time of the NBA year when legends are made.

Damn it sucks watching Wade grow old from game to game. Bron will opt out at the end of next year without help.

Paul George is going to be a star. Wish GS had drafted him instead of Udoh.

Hibbert shows me that athleticism can be over rated. But a legit 7-2 going against an undersized front line of Miami sure helps.

Hibberts feet were both in the restricted area on that charge.

That not being a charge wouldn’t have affected the outcome at all, but it was not a charge.

Lebron either needs to have one of those all-time type games, or he needs help; I don’t want to predict game 7 right now I think Indiana has that good a chance at it(I might even be favoring them slightly? Back of my mind thinks that D-Wade will respond to the moment and Lebron will be great).

Indiana just needs to keep its cool during the whole game… that game should’ve been a blow out if indiana didnt make so many dumb mistakes.

As a big time Spurs fan I want us to play Miami in the finals. I think Duncan would dominate Bosh in every game and that is something I want to see. Also I am a huge LBJ fan so it would be a win-win for me. I do think SA could win either way but it is going to be a 7 game series. I am going to be worried about game 1 though because we haven’t played in FOREVER!!

Exactly. Its maddening to see some the sloppy errors/TO’s they commit and MIA is one team that punishes you quickly for em.

If IND can keep their TO total to less than 15, I do like their chances.

And of course the refs need to let em play out there, esp in a Game 7. (not saying they will, just hoping for it)

Damn Bill Simmons dropping heavy praise on Tim Duncan.

Indiana doesn’t have a shot in game 7.
It’ll be 8 on 5 out there, poor Pacers.
There seems to be some distention in the Miami locker room.
Did anyone else read the quotes from wade blaming LeBron for trying to do to much or LeBrons quotes about wade/bosh struggling and trying to get them on track with dunks and layups but wade misses those too lol

I’m glad it’s going to 7 because its been a very entertaining series so far

Meanwhile…

I think the Spurs will take it regardless of who wins game 7.

Miami isn’t getting anything from Wade or Bosh. You say it’s 8 on 5?

With the way Bosh and Wade plus bench are going it will be pretty close.

Also

Also with the Spurs making the Finals will the talks about T-Mac not being able to get a team past the first round finally end?

/end troll

Setsup perfectly for Lebron to the Lakers.

That was a foul. Im sure with the thought of Battier’s knee to the groin fresh in everyone’s mind it was easier for them to call that in Hibbert’s favor, but i think it was a very good call. Lead with the knee AND the elbow, Hibbert was straight up and down.

Either way, what a douchebag, how can anyone actually claim to be a Lebron fan when he does bitch shit like this?

I am a fan of greatness aka LBJ…

I have always wondered why he doesn’t get more love as the best player of his generation. I know if I were building a team and had my choice of all of the players in his generation I’d take him. Hands down.

Obviously players like Lebron James make the game more entertaining for all of us fans, but i cant admire an athlete if i dont like him as a person as well.

What’s wrong with Lebron’s character though? Yeah, I hated him towards the end of his Cleveland days, and his first year in miami. But he’s seems completely different now. Way more mature and humble imo. But I’ve honestly only watched him during the playoffs, so i could be wrong.

The biggest thing he does that really irks me and makes me want to root against him is when he goes on telling the press that hes never flopped because hes so good he doesnt need to play like that and that he rarely complains about calls so when he does you know its bad, but he is one of the worst offenders in the NBA on both counts.

I also hate the idea of team jumping just to pickup an “easy” ring. Thats why guys like Lebron will never be loved the way guys like Dirk will.

Im sure he’s not a bad person overall, but though he has matured a bit, hes still a big fuckin baby and a poor sport.

Unfortunately, everyone seems to do this now.

BTW what’s happening with the Clippers? My brother was telling me that the owner put the blame on chris paul for why Vinny was fired. Is this True? The retard Stephen A Smith was also saying that Chris Paul and Blake Griffin have beef.
