NBA FINALS 2011

 1. Dwight
 2. Lebron
 3. Dirk
 4. Wade
 5. Durant
 6. CP3
 7. Kobe
 8. Rose
 9. Melo
 10. D-Will

^^ in that order, imo. Lebron was #1 through the regular season, but if you can’t get it done when it really matters you really can’t be the best player. If Lebron keeps playing like dog shit, I would switch it to Dwight/Dirk/Wade/Lebron

Durant deserves to be higher. Kobe is #1 or #2, but Kobe’s been around a lot longer than Durant, so I’m not sure it’s fair to put Durant necessarily higher.

Nope.

Who is in your opinion? Please don’t say Kobe…
Why not? Put up 25/5/5 averaging the fewest minutes since his 2nd year in the league and has basiclly played basketball for 5 years without a break including playoffs and USA ball. Can’t put James there 'cause he’s disappearing during the biggest moment of his career and you can’t put Howard there 'cause despite the fact that he’s the 1 true center left in the league he only dominates sporadically, you CANNOT count on him to get you crucial buckets and he’s a complete liability at the line. It’s funny that you mention those 2 guys, 'cause from what I’ve seen they’re cut from the same cloth. As they’re getting their asses handed to them they’re laughing and giggling with reporters acting like it’s no big deal, like they’re just gonna be handed the whole thing eventually. And in James case, that may happen this year, but even if he puts up Big O #'s the next 2 games he will have done basiclly nothing positive for his team in the biggest moment in his life. He couldn’t win in Cleveland so he bailed on 'em, now he’s hoping his new team can bail him out of the giant hole he’s dug himself this series.
You’ve made some interesting points some I agree and disagree with.

The reason I wouldn’t count Kobe as #1 is because I said CURRENTLY. He’s been the best player in the last 10 years, but in 2010-2011 he was not in the running for top spot nor will he be in 2011-2012.

I don’t think you can be so sure about 11-12. I guess after being swept out of the playoffs, he wants some sort of revenge.

Is everyone in Germany watching the Finals and cheering for Dirk?

Switch Wade with Lebron in that list.

Come@mebros

I’ve been saying it all season, Wade > Lebron.

BTW what is up with Miami getting completely shut down in the 4th?

Shit I knew Dallas’ zone would cause them headaches but DID NOT expect them to keep Miami’s from scoring as much as it has.

James looks completely out of place even against a meager defender in Jason Terry. Wade just can’t get a good look despite how hard he is trying. Bosh seems to have lost his mid range shooting abilities. This is exactly the situation where Bosh needs to step up and finish the game off.

I’d love to see some stats on how many pts both teams have scored in the final 5 minutes.

I don’t know the exact numbers for that stat but Dallas has ended the 3 games they won on 23-5, 10-1, and 15-3 runs(2, 4, and 5) so it’s not going to be pretty for Miami.

most of my friends are. But since most of my friends play basketball that’s not such a big surprise.
Other than that I don’t think so. Unfortunately, no one really cares for it besides people who play the sport and a handfull of others. But, well we’re gonna watch the game together and probably wake up the whole city if Dallas wins the game

That’s what I’m thinking. This past season, despite the numbers he put up with the diminished minutes, he looked a little “off”. Just think he was tired due to the physical and mental beating his body has taken the last 4 seasons [which adds up to 5 seasons including playoffs. Crazy] and he needs to recharge his battery. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him do some big things this year.

Don’t ask Lebron for change for a dollar, you’ll never get the 4th quarter

Well go ahead and make a fella feel like an ass why dontcha

why is is it so quiet in here, suddenly?
Can’t wait for the game to begin. Really hope this is gonna be the last game of the series!

I used to like Wade and James but ever since they’re on the same team, they just seem to be arrogant douches.

It’s because they are arrogant douches. It would be really bad for basketball, and sports as a whole, if the Heat win this series. I really hope Dallas closes this out tonight and Dirk goes off. Also, James was talking to reporters and laughing and giggling again, acting like everything was fine and when asked if he feels pressure about the Heats place in the series he said “We wouldn’t have it anyother way”. What the fuck? There’s no way he really believes that. His douchiness is off the charts. Maybe if he could actually have a positive impact on this series his team would be up. Maybe then he “wouldn’t have it anyother way”. Jerkoff.

LBJ is 4-4 to start the game and has 9 points… maybe hes finally arrived in this series?

^^^ Was thinking the same… but it’s only the 1st :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s looking like it, and that doesn’t bode well for Dallas. Marion needs to get in his chest and deny the ball. Also, Nowitzki is 0-2.

what? Where was that second foul on Dirk? That could be huge.

Gonna need a big showing from Terry and Berea

It is seeming more and more apparent to me, that James and Wade feel this series is as good as done. I have my money on Dallas closing out game 6.
