Funny how Bosh is back above 20 points despite being older and injured this year with LeBron gone and DWade out for like half of their games.
In summary: I know more than Shaq, CWebb, and Simmons, but I’m not famous.
I’m overwhelmed by your knowledge of basketball, you should change you name to red auerbach.
Whoever thought it was a good idea to allow kenny smith on the broadcast, and then over the PA in the whole area should be fired and blackballed from the entertainment industry. Seriously, ken smith is the most obnoxious buffoon on television and he doesn’t realize the only reason he has a job at all is because Barkley. That jackass yelling over everything kinda ruined the 3pt contest and dunk contest.
I thought Lavine was one of the best Dunkers I’ve seen in the competition in a while. He put down most dunks in one attempt (big to me) and made it look effortless. The attempt after attempt really kills it for me.
It was also fun to eat Curry go 27/30 in the skills.

27/34
25/30 still the record. Don’t get fooled by the inflated point values of having an entire rack of money balls.

The dunk contest was impressive. Best in a long time.
Agreed. The showmanship in recent years had definitely hurt it. I still remember the year Kenny worked with Blake griffin and brought out a choir for one of his dunk. Made me want to turn it off

Shitty.
I thought he was done as an allstar after his first injury. Now I think it’s 90% certain he’ll be average for the remainder of his career
Will always believe his getting MVP was bullshit, but the kid could obviously play. Watched him during his first preseason back after the acl tear and thought he was done as a force as well. At this point he’s gotta consider retirement. His body clearly can’t handle the grind.
Looks like Mason passed away the other day. R.I.P.
Had floor tickets to Rockets/Nets the other day. As a native Houstonian I always want the Rockets to do well, but if Harden wins the MVP it will be total bullshit. He plays such inefficient basketball. He’ll never be more than a good numbers on a good (not great) team guy, at least as the first option.
