Heh. While I agree that D’Antoni’s system is partly responsible, your unconditional support of Bryant goes too far.

Two nights back in POR, must-win situation and close game throughout, and both Gasol and D12 combined to shoot 20-26 FGs. Its basically impossible to top that efficiency.

And yet Bryant somehow still managed to jack up 27 shots on his own. I rest my case.

And he scored damn near 50, and they won. He’s piggybacked this team the entire year due to Howard not being what most thought he was, Gasol being injured/ostracized, Nash being 80, etc…

I rest my case.

Howard still isn’t 100 percent, you fucktards sound like a bunch of retarded momo bitches with your lack of NBA knowledge. Dwight is hurt and is still putting up all star numbers.

OH SHIT THE RETURN OF DREW

LOL I thought Yolo was Drew for a second there. All we need now is what’s his name super-Laker fan to reinvent the glory days of the NBA thread.

Howards a cry baby and lacks heart and mental toughness. I honestly dont think we’ll ever see him at “100%” again until he goes back to a team where he is the all-star and everyone else is mediocre at best.

He is obviously doing a poor job at integrating into a team where he has to share the spot-light. He has no chemistry. I just dont think any team with another superstar on it is ever going to be a good fit for him.

Kobe and stuff he had to say about his injury on social media (with pic):

.

I hate achilles injuries. Partially torn mine at 16 during ball training coming down for a rebound. 3 guitar string snaps later I’m still being reminded at 25 each time I turn my ankle sideways. :frowning:

Mamba will be hungry when he gets back.

Awesome picture.

“Now I’m supposed to come back from this and be the same player Or better at 35?!? How in the world am I supposed to do that??” -Kobe

Nice little stat I read: Over the last 10 games LA has become #1 in free-throw advantage and Utah has become #29 after being #12 the whole year. Guess NBA/ABC won’t need the Lakers in the playoffs anymore with Kobe out.

I’m still pretty sure the troll stern will want LA in the playoffs. Getting bounced in the first round will still draw better ratings than Utah. And as we all know the nba is about TV ratings > competition.

So should the Lakers amnesty Kobe? Is it time?

I can’t see any compelling reason(s) why they shouldn’t.

Or why he would have any issue(s) if they did.

I was expecting a little bit of argument over this topic from some. Guess not.

East Playoffs

(1) Miami vs (8) Milwaukee
(2) New York vs (7) Boston
(3) Indiana vs (6) Atlanta
(4) Brooklyn vs (5) Chicago

West Playoffs

(1) Oklahoma City vs (8) Houston
(2) San Antonio vs (7) Los Angeles Laker
(3) Denver vs (6) Golden State
(4) Los Angeles Clippers vs (5) Memphis

Anyone expecting any upsets?

Here’s my picks:

Miami in 4
NY in 7
Indy and Atl have both been playing like shit, so I see this going to whoever in 7, and ABC doesn’t care who really wins
Chicago in 6

OKC in 5
SA in 7 Hack-a-Howard in full effect in game 7 in SA
Denver in 6, if I wasn’t such a big GS fan I’d pick Denver in 4 or 5
LAC in 7, but I think Memphis can take it if Griffin and Jordan don’t hit they’'re FTs

The only upset I’m picking is Boston over New York. Everywhere else, the higher seed will take it.

Let me guess. You think they’ll be able to beat Miami in a 7 game series?

Does anyone actually care about he first round of playoffs is a better question.
