Even without Rose, with everyone else healthy, heat may very likely fall to bulls in a 7 game series. With rose, its not even a question.

Lebron is crying to everyone who’ll listen now. “poor me, everyone beats me up and i cant get foul calls cause im so big wah.”

Classic Lebron.

The guy plays basketball like hes a full back, slamming through people like bowling pins or forcing them to get out of the way, and when another team doesnt back down, he makes it sound like hinrich tackled him in the middle of a game and taj damn near choked him out. LOL

I would have loved to see him play in the 80’s and early-mid 90’s. Those Bulls would have throttled him. Could you imagine him playing against the 90’s knicks? They would have made him their bitch, prison gang-raped him at center-court.

I am still so fucking happy right now.

My favorite moment had to be lebron’s flagrant against boozer. He just had this awesome, angry little kid look on his face as he committed it. And to add to that, he bounced right off boozer.

Ah, what a night.

LOL so hilarious, the heat just won 27 straight and you guys are all up on how mighty your bulls are for winning one regular season game bahahaha, the heat are going to repeat and would destroy the bulls in a 7 game series. Enjoy your nice 3 game winning streak because you guys wont win a championship within the next 5 years! lets not forget the bulls are 29th in the league in scoring, so good luck!

with noah and Rose, the Bulls are the only team in the east that would make it a series worth watching.

LOL, last year the bulls had the best regular season record, went to the second round of the playoffs but lost their franchise player.

Before that they went to the eastern conference finals. Same year heat got whooped by Dallas.

This year the bulls have had some extensive changes to their lineup, have had key players out during big games, and of course, are missing their franchise player, and youngest MVP of all time.

If you think its so incredulous that a fully healthy bulls cant take the heat, when theyve proven time and time again to be one of the heats toughest matchups, then you are a fucking tool and a moron.

Of course we are high on the bulls right now, the heat had all the momentum of that historic win streak behind them and got more or less worked by a crippled bulls. Heat lost, Bulls won, Lebrons a crybaby bitch, get over it.

And did you forget that the bulls similarly dominated the heat in their first regular season meeting this season too? Again without rose… But its soooooo incredibly ridiculous to think they could ever do it in the post-season.

I don’t think it’s ‘sooooo incredibly ridiculous’ but I do think the Heat have improved more since 10-11 than the Bulls have, and they beat them in those playoffs 4-1(you kind of blew that point off like it’s meaningless). Indiana and the Knicks have laid a few beat downs on the Heat in the regular season too, and nobody thinks they’re REALLY going to threaten them either(maybe play them to a 5 or 6 game series).

Well first, im not the only person that thinks a healthy bulls with derrick rose leading has a real shot at a championship.

Second, i didnt “blow off the point like its meaningless,” in the context of what im saying, its irrelevant. Im not saying the Bulls will or should beat the heat in a playoff series. Im saying they can. And they have a better shot than most other teams. Certainly the best shot in the eastern conference.

next 5 years… you mad kid?

We have a dynasty coming soon. Derrick Rose will be healthy, and with Teague they could become one of the elite point guard duos in the league. Jimmy Butler developing into one of the better bench players in the league. The Bobcats first round pick. Nikola Mirotic is coming in a couple years, probably the best future-NBA player in Europe right now. Noah becoming an elite center. Cap space when we get rid of Boozer/Hamilton. And of course, Coach Thibodeau… there have only been 44 games where he was able to start his preferred 5, and for 47 games he has been missing two or more starters, yet he has the highest winning % of any coach in NBA history.

Well I can’t argue with this, because I agree. The way seeding looks to be working out, we’ll hopefully get that matchup in the 2nd round as well; I would love to see another playoff series between them.

I dont understand why you guys think drose is the savior of your team. First off he shouldnt have been MVP the year he won it. How can a player be the MVP if he gets injured and the team basically does as good as they did before he got injured?

He’s not, but hes the most significant player on the Bulls and if he returns to form, the best PG in the league.

On any team, the absence or presence of such a player will make a huge difference.

From wikipedia:

At the end of the 2010â??11 NBA season the Bulls finished with a league leading record of 62â??20.[75] Their 60+ wins was the Bulls’ first such season since 1997â??98 and sixth 60+ win in franchise history.[76] At season’s end, Rose became only the third player in the past thirty years of the NBA to record 2,000 points and 600 assists in a single season. The other two players were LeBron James and Michael Jordan.

Yeah, that doesnt sound MVP worthy at all…

He also led the Bulls to the eastern conference finals that year, and has led them to the playoffs every season he’s played.

But how in the world did that guy get an MVP?

Rose wasn’t as good as Lebron in his MVP year. What you witnessed was voter fatigue + feel good story.

I’m not totally convinced Rose will come back 100%. I also think they need another scorer. When Rose was healthy it was basically 1 vs 5 on offense.

I think Rose had bigger obstacles to overcome to be an effective offensive player than Lebron did. Whether that should affect the decision of who gets MVP or not is a matter of opinion i suppose. Either way, it was an MVP like performance. A lot of people would argue Durant should have won it last year too. Sometimes thats the way it goes. Wouldnt say Lebron didnt put on an MVP worthy performance though.

I also feel Rose will come back 100%, and since no ones seen him for so long, at his age, i wont be surprised if he’s improved his game. Im sure their will be some rust that needs to be shaken off at first, but he’s had a hell of a lot of time to work on that 3 point shot. I could be wrong, but im still getting my hopes up. Im from Chicago, what can i say?

Im kinda hoping its like when jordan came back after 60 games out with his broken foot and set a new playoff scoring record. That may be wishful thinking, but hey, a guy can dream, right?

Noah is a pretty legit #3 to have on your team. He one of the best rebounders on the offensive glass, gets blocks and steals, can distribute the rock to his team and his scoring isn’t over the top for a guy who isn’t a star player.

Top 5 center in the game right now both offensively and defensively. He turns the ball over a little more than I like but that is obvious as DRose is out and therefore a lot more offensive would run through him. He’s probably hitting a ceiling now, but he’s good for 15/10/5 a game once he peaks. I’ll take that for less than $15 mill a year (i.e Boozer)

And its pretty fuckin hard to argue that he isnt.

Miami’s big 3 is Lebron, Bosh and Wade. Nobody short of Kevin Durant coming to the bulls could match Lebron, but Noah and Rose are a better combo than Bosh and Wade. Another solid scorer for the Bulls and they become a huge threat to anyone.

Hell, having Deng and Belinelli on the same team when Rose comes back could be a killer scoring trio. Being able to play Robinson off the bench is a huge asset to the bulls too when Rose comes back.

The Bulls with D-Rose, Deng, Noah and their other pieces are a formidable unit, you don’t have to look far back to see how good they were (read: the season before D-Rose got injured) but saying they’ll beat the Heat and win championships in the near future, is a bit of a stretch. They are a contender but LeBron James is LeBron James and not even Kevin Durant in any capacity matches the overall package of what LeBron can do out there.

I like the optimism by Bulls fan, its definitely warranted seeing the potential roster they will have when healthy, and Chicago is a basketball city, but let’s not just ignore the Miami Heat, who by the way just got off the second longest winning streak in professional sports.

what bull fans fail to realize is that they arent that deep of a team. Miami is so stacked its insane. Besides the big three they have chalmers, allen, battier, anthony, lewis, jones, miller; its as if this team was built perfectly. All these players are great at what they do…chalmers is clutch, battier is smart and clutch, allen is clutch and smart, anthony is great on D, lewis is long and can hit threes…not to mention how great of a team chemistry this team has…chicago has a longggggg way to go.
