I watched that game. The timing was fuckin’ priceless. If knew that he checked his fan mail for a fact, I’d email him a link to this thread lol.

Wow great game last night okc v nuggets

I’ve always been a huge Ty Lawson fan and he hit the game winner last night.

Durant had an off game last night but this was pretty incredible:

^^yeah Durants layup was insane.

Damn i was just gonna post this. Beat me to it.

I fuckin’ love Durant.

He’s a boy in a mans league. Roy Hibbert isn’t much of a man himself but he nudged him and Curry flew like he’d been punched by Superman. Too bad there are no strong and dominant big men anymore, otherwise Curry would have close to 0 points in the paint.

I want to see GS play the Lakers in the playoffs so I can see Artest bully this kid.

Curry, stay sane son. [/quote]

Yeah it sucks, but the watered-down league today totally works against big strong dominant defenders.

haha!

Looks like a complete goof

I’m in awe that they were down by 25 against such a shitty team in the first place lol

And then again last night lol (no offense raj)

Yeah it’s nice to see your team fight hard and scrap their way back to win these games but the fact that they were down so much to NO and Toronto in the first place is alarming. Lakers cannot play D until the 4th quarter.

1 - that TOR game was absolutely bananas at the end, both regulation and OT

2 - friend of mine notes that since all-star break, Bryant is putting up 38/7/8 on 54% FGs… in his 17th year

( ^^ now if this can’t bring WF back out of the woodworks, maybe nothing can)

33.3/6.2/6.8 53.8% and maybe most impressively 44.4% from 3(he’s actually a pretty mediocre career 3pt % shooter, 44% over a 9 game stretch is 10% higher than his season average).

Pretty crazy stretch of games he’s having(we’ll ignore the 5+ TOs a game for now because everything else is so good).

Edit: If you throw out the BOS game right after the break, where he had a pretty bad game(I think 5-15 for 16, forget boards/assists), and think of the 8 games after, it’s even better(that might be what your friend did for the 38pts).

Haha, what’s up fellas? Bryant has been playing out of his fucking mind, and his competitiveness and will to win are impressive, but the fact that he’s had to go Neo on 2 cellar dwellers in back-to-backs to pull out the W isn’t good. They’ll make the playoffs (I’m thinking 7th seed), and maybe even pull an upset depending on who they draw (especially if they can somehow grab the 6th spot), but as a team they just don’t look good. I’ve said it a million times, and I’ll say it again: Dwight Howard is the most overrated dude in the league. He has ZERO ball skills, doesn’t have a go to move, doesn’t understand simple concepts like spacing and movement on the offensive end, and is a liability down the stretch due to his lousy ft shooting. That’s also not taking into account that he’s hands down the biggest douchebag in the league and is a cancer and disruption everywhere he goes. If the Lakers are smart, they let him walk and start fresh after next year when Bryant leaves.

JA Adande has just put up a piece on ESPN after the Lakers beat the Bulls cementing the Lakers look like a playoff team now. Maybe they do, and let’s ignore the fact they haven’t beaten any top teams in this little post-All-Star stretch (and actually struggled against bad teams even though eventually winning), but wasn’t Adande the same guy who said the Lakers had no hope this season on Sportcenter earlier in the season?

Change in opinions like the above are common among sports fans and generalist sports writers but aren’t they bad form for commentators so specialised they are purported to have a pulse on the organisation in question? Tim Legler is a generalist NBA commentator for ESPN and he’s always maintained the Lakers would make the playoffs, even when they were losing game after game for a while back in the season.

EDIT: I mean forecasting isn’t a science but doesn’t Adande have access to the Laker’s regular season schedule? Surely he could have defended the Lakers eventually getting the bottom playoff seeds just based on their schedule with the jacked starting roster they have.

RIP Brandon Knight

I’m really happy I missed the Raps vs LAL game.
