Oh. Well there is only one way to get out of doing that. Move to a place where you agree with the government and pay their taxes.
I heard there is some bastardized way to become some sort of non-citizen but they still allow you to stay and posses land, but basically you have no rights or freedoms guaranteed by the constitution. I don’t know what it’s called or how to do it. I like America, flies and all.
Of course. However, many American liberals/progressives do not believe in property rights; thus, restricting property rights actually increases freedom, in their minds(and if you disagree: racist, etc.).
As for the political quiz: The problem with it is that it rests mostly upon your personal beliefs instead of your political beliefs.
i.e. Instead of “‘from each according to his ability, to each according to his need’ is a fundamentally good idea,” it should say something like, “forcing others to abide by ‘from each according to his ability, to each according to his need,’ is a good idea.”
Well, other than paying taxes and the occasional police pull over I really don’t interact with the government at all. If I didn’t pay attention to what’s going on, I really wouldn’t know it through my daily life.
I pay attention because it’s interesting and I want to know if something is coming that would more greatly affect my life. So the only way I interact with the government is taxes and plenty of those, occasional police pull over (rare but it happens), and voting and writing my congress people. So, honestly I don’t interact with the government much at all. Nobody from Washington comes over to see me, no raids or kerfuffle, most of the time they leave me alone.
That’s what I don’t get about the maniacal behaviors people engage in over things that really don’t affect them in any way, shape or form. But boy are they pissed. The problem is, the people they are pissed at don’t know those people are pissed at them and don’t care and are enjoying their lives. So the pissed off people are simply torturing themselves. Why does one want to be mad all the time. That doesn’t sound like much fun.
Even under Obama, I took breaks from politics. That shit moves slow. Paying attention every second will drive you nuts.
That’s a handsome lot. Talk about being hands on with the people. There wasn’t a day gone by where the people were not aware of the government involvement in their lives.
Right, that’s kinda what I was getting at when I asked what’s changing, and you said lefties are freaking out.
Ignoring that nearly all lefties aren’t actually freaking out, just like under Obama nearly all righties weren’t actually freaking out. I’m aware Fox news can find videos of people freaking out, but that doesn’t really make it so.
Hell, maybe it’s just because I live in a bubble. But given the majority of people my age are left of center, and my generation is also the one that righties like to claim are freaking out, I’m left wondering where the hell they’re hiding.
It seems to me Nazi, fascist, and racist have become the N-word used by whites and non-whites for any white person of whose social, racial, and economic views they are not fond, even though in many cases both don’t know much or a damn thing about National Socialism, can’t even quite a line from Mein Kampf (which contains hundreds of pages) and aren’t Furher fans. And I believe this without even being a white man. It’s sometimes even applied to whites who aren’t the slightest bit racially motivated. It’s actually comical at this point.
This is part of Marxism describing a stateless communist society. IMO it can be interpreted as a personal belief or ideals. The authoritarian, socialist version is “from each according to his ability, to each according to his work/contribution.”
I’m bringing this also because today’s marxist socialists are pretending it was communism without the “dictatorship of the proletariat”(socialist phase) that was responsible for all the shit that happened in history.
