I’ve never understood the whole trend. What I don’t get is how they claim to be unique, when they ALL LOOK ALIKE. Same with the goths. Be wary of anyone who claims they are unique and looks like thousands of other people.

My wife listens to James Blunt.
I photocopied the artwork on the top of the James Blunt CD, make a sticker out of it, and put it on top of my copy of Reign in Blood. I then put it inside her James Blunt CD jacket.
She had a couple of friends over on the weekend and went to put some tunes on. She was NOT happy.

Just the sheer awesomeness of that act astounds me. Even if it meant getting shut out all week, I am sure it was worth it. Rock On.

Straightedge and emo are way different…
Are straightedges those people that don’t smoke, dont drink and don’t get laid?
I used to be one. Then I turned 16. I don’t smoke, and anything over 2 beers and I fall asleep, but women are wonderful.

James Blunt is emo? I don’t think so. I thought this was just some lame over-exposed acoustic love balled that jocks played to get in their girl’s pants–kinda like the Nelson twins from the '90s. Emo is more like …

I’ve seen them all over as well. It’s obviously not meant to be taken literally. It’s funny. Get over it.
Violence for real or pretend especially to those that haven’t harmed anyone is not funny–nor should it be taken as a joke.
You wouldn’t laugh at a joke about beating up black people or the mentally handicapped…?

your a bitch.

ha! now that is funny! Calling someone a bitch is acceptable in my book…beating 'em up becasue you percieve them to be a bitch is not.
Though, I would be careful calling someone you don’t know a bitch ecpecially when you use Ahnuhld looking like a douche-bag as your avatar.
were you really ready to go out and beat up some pussies? did you actually invision a mob running around the streets? thank jesus you are here to stop them, phew that was a close one. don’t be a fag, posting your opposition to a joke makes you a douche bag, and a bitch. if you can make it out there is something written on my avitar, look close, it’s meant for you.

Grow up! Why would you come on this site and show your aggression to people who have not harmed you in any way? Lame!

Obviously you’ve never thrown eggs out of a car doing 60 mph at people on bicycles. You don’t know what you’re missing.

I’ve never quite understood… what’s an emo?
I’ve always used the term to describe totured, angsty teenagers. You know, the kids with long hair, sullen looks from under their fringe and always yell “You just don’t understand” before slamming the door.
They look like poor goths.
Ah, now it all makes sense. After I read someone’s post that James Blunt (that’s the guy that sings "you’re beautiful, right?)is an emo it all became very clear. He’s just the kind of guy I could see myself going berserk on… and I’m a friendly guy.
Yup. When I hear that song I want to grab the guy that wrote it by the ankles and swat him off the bumper of a coal truck.
Kinda like mailbox baseball, only a person instead of a bat, and a truck instead of a mailbox.

Don’t be a fag?! What if I happened to be gay? Are you going to make a joke about how you like to beat fags up too? I would really love to hear it.

That James Blunt dude is not emo…not even the same galaxy.

LOL! YES! Don’t forget bottlerocket launching at pedestrians from a slow-moving car OR (this was our unique specialty as teens) ass-jousting bicyclists from behind with a 3-foot inflatable crayon.
If anyone is curious I will post the backstory on the crayon.
With that said. This thread isn’t much better. Some of you guys talking about beating up Emo kids, you sound like the ‘tough’ guy in high school.
T-men are mature. They don’t talk about beating up others. They defend themselves/loved ones when the situation warrants it. Other than that, they don’t fight others (outside of certain sports).

This is why I love Australia. Down here, emos, straightedgers, scenesters and all these other retards are known as “wankers”.

I think that if we could get the rest of the world to use the term ‘wanker’ in the way it is used here we would have greater understanding all over the planet and it could potentially lead to world peace.
