I can see your points, but making one’s employer look like an idiot is a time honored way of earning walking papers at any job. I also question the notion that using testosterone as a performance enhancer/PED is banned if one’s doctor can pre-scribe short term supra-physiological doses for “therapeutic effects”. Is there any difference between that, and someone not normally on Test replacement simply doing a short cycle?
Granted, I would be fine with not testing anyone. However, if the charade of being drug free is going to be the status quo, than what Marquardt did is absolutely the same as knowingly doing a cycle of PED’s and it was a good suspension.

And you’re right. The idea of regulating HRT is as tricky as regulating PED use. Unless you’re testing randomly in between fights, only the guys who fuck up get caught.
