Sharpton was an ironic choice indeed for apology. Al referred to Jews in Brooklyn as “Diamond Merchants” and never had to apologize. While true in some cases, one must learn to measure what they say, esp. a “Reverand”.
What about Jesse Jackson’s “Hymietown” remark? It took him a week to even admit he said it. Only after repeated viewings of tape did he acknowledge it, but he never, ever apologized. WTF is up with that?
