I recently spent two weeks in Maui with my girlfriend for vacation. We had a great time eating a ton of good food, visiting beaches, doing some of the tourist stuff (Luau, snorkeling, local performances) and enjoying the weather, family and friends.
I decided to take back a bit of Hawaii with me in the form of a tattoo. I found a book about Hawaiian petroglyphs and found a drawing of a “muscle figure.” This figure represents “strength” to the Hawaiians. I decided that it also represented me with my love of fitness and training. So I got that along with a tribal sun design.
My wife and I just went to Kona last November for our honeymoon. I can’t stop thinking about it. The whole atmosphere in Hawaii is so laid back…the people, the weather, the scenery, the activities. There’s nothing quite like sitting in an open air cafe eating a crab and Mahi omlette for breakfast and watching dolphins leap out of the water in the bay. We can’t wait to go back.
With the S2000 and the trip to Hawaii you can’t be too far off.
To the fella from Illinois, I feel you about the greatness and atmosphere in Hawaii. I’ve been to Illinois many time having lived next door and it’s not much fun. Come down to sunny south florida. It’s pretty nice here too.
