I eased into a Test/Deca cycle at 250mg/wk of each. I’ve been on six weeks. I’ve had no strength gains. In fact, I lost a couple reps on my bench. I started to feel like my shirt sleeves were ever so slight looser. I also lost my typical interest in sex. I had bloods drawn, expecting estrogen or prolactin to be the culprit. However, they were fine, but my total test is at 115 ng/dL and free test at 25 pg/mL! I’ve never been that low.
My TRT dose of test has been only 120 mg/wk for the last ten year. My total test was usually around 600 ng/dL on that. My first thought was that the gear I had is bunk; however, I used the same guy years ago for a very short lower-dose tren cycle and it worked like a charm. He is also clearly on gear that works if you look at him. I have some things I ordered from him that I don’t intent to use for a while too. So I decided to order tests from roidtest.com to test the gear. the test cyp, the anavar, and the deca all had positive tests. My next thought was that while the testosterone was real, maybe it’s severely underdosed. (Do any of you know of a test kit that can test the mg/mL?)
I reached out to my source and told him all of this. He said he had similar symptoms when he started test/deca. He said he had to increase his dose to 900 mg/wk of test. He thinks the deca is blocking the test. I can’t find anything that supports the idea that deca can reduce exogenous test. Sure it can reduce natural test, but why would it block exogenous test? I’m taking twice my old TRT dose of test and my testosterone levels are in the basement.
First thing I did today was pop a new vial test cyp from my TRT, which I know is legit and pin 200 mg. Now I’m trying to solve this situation. I would love insight and help.

I’m not relying on his advice. I obviously don’t think that makes sense, as I said in my question. He his in an inbetween for the gear. I relied on a test to assess the legitimacy of the gear. What is your theory Rusty?
It means your test isn’t test, or is severely underdosed.
Deca can throw a lot of sides like increased estrogen via stimulation of the e2 receptor.
What it absolutely cannot do is drive down test levels.

Yeah. My estrogen was 23 pg so low end of normal and prolactin was 5.5 ng so normal. The roidtest changed color for both the deca test and testosterone. My best guess is that both are extremely underdosed. There’s other clearly-roided guys on his stuff so maybe temperature or something ruined it. Very weird.

My theory is in line with @EFShadow 's post. Your gear is obviously compromised and cannot be trusted. You need to find a better source for your gear or get the gear that your current supplier is selling you, tested. Look up Janoshik analytical for gear testing.
Yeah that doesn’t really matter. Each batch can be different as you’ve discovered.
Yeah that’s not how it works. Nandrolone shows up as Testosterone on the standard assay. So your TT would look HIGHER from adding it, it doesn’t block anything.
I’m afraid your source doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about.

No doubt! I guess I’m saying I don’t think he’s running a scam based on past experience, but yes, something is wrong with the gear. If those roidtest.com tests can be trusted for, at least, detecting the presence test and deca, I guess that means something went wrong in the process, rendering it impotent.
Thanks. I’ll check out Janoshik.
guys will twist themselves into knots before just admitting that maybe they got bad gear or their ‘guy’ isn’t 100% trustworthy lol. they’ll say the lab screwed up or their bodies are just super unique before just admitting that ‘hey, yeah in this case I got some bunk gear’. it’s common, it happens. you just gotta accept it as part of the steroid using process and move on.
You’re probably right. I have no great loyalty to this guy. He’s an intermediary and probably has no idea if it’s bunk or not or why. I’m reading about napsgear now. Lots of good reviews but looks like bot reviews a lot of the time as far as I can tell.
