I liked it, we’ll see how today compares since I got almost 10 hours of sleep lol. I wasn’t in my zone at first, but got into it once I got to incline, and especially flat. I like not going in focused on getting a certain PR and hitting failure on everything. Today should be better, especially since my order of Surge Workout Fuel came in :wink:

Yeah I feel like the Surge helped today, I was pretty ready to deadlift when I got to it. I thought I would have been tired. I’ve also got FINiBARS (Biotest whore :)) but I’m going to save those for the 2nd and 3rd week.

Yeah I think we just had a really bad off day. Better to get it out of our system for the first playoff game :slight_smile:

Light weight, 3 reps, did this for around 20 minutes and started feeling great so I called it. Today was also my cheaper version of the pulse fast (just Power Drive and ~90g protein from hydrolyzed whey, and maybe 3 scoops of Biotest’s L-Leucine)

Tomorrow is the first lower body pressing day, and I’m doing my best to make a sled for the eccentric-less training.

Thanks for stopping in man! My gym weight yesterday was right at, or a pound or two over 200 (after drinking my 2 liters of Anaconda and other goodies :slight_smile: ). Definitely getting progressively stronger, which I like!

NOTES: Squats were a LOT better today. I watched this video (this girl is sexy as hell, holy sh*t) and it helped my form a lot. Moved my hands in, ditched the thumbless grip, and focused on keeping my elbows tucked, chest out, and pushing the bar a little with my hands. I have a feeling good things are to come with squat. Also, OH press was much stronger today, despite doing this same volume on Sunday and Monday

I timed my session today just for you :wink:

I started from the moment I did my first set of squats, to my very last set of bench, and it was 65 minutes.

Also, I’m about to go try and finish making my prowler/sled substitute. So hopefully I can get my eccentric-less training in in a few minutes

Almost at the end of your first week, did you enjoy it? Training is looking good man.

I found as the weeks went on that the routines were getting shorter; the breaks between sets get shorter and you can pretty much strategise which sets you can do with less/more rest time etc.
