Lazy lifter + shoulders, 3x5 YTWs, bar dislocations
Bench 20kg x5, 60kg 2x5, 80kg 2x5, 100kg x3, 120kg x1, 135kg x1, 150kg x1, 92.5kg 3x10
CG Bench 85kg 3x10
DB OHP 30kg 3x10
DB Flys 17.5kg 3x10
Dips BW 3x10
And the fun continues!! All Bench done with no handout apart from the 150kg, and even then I wish I hadnt bothered! Seen the guy around the gym before doing what looked like Powerlifting training so figured I’d be ok, I figured wrong.
The guy barely helped me out of the rack then just held the bar above me for a good 5+ seconds before I had to tell him to let go. Everything felt good on the way down, gave it a good pause, and exploded up as best I could. Bar started to slow mid lift, the guys hands shot for the bar… had to shout at him not to touch it, had a bit of a grind but finished the lift!
I think thats it for the fun this week, I dont fancy hitting a heavy beltless squat tomorrow, I’ll just do my volume stuff for the rest of the week, I’m happy with what I’ve done this week.
