I’m guessing this isn’t advisable

Its not ideal mate, no! I sort of nodded off, then had to remind myself that my eyes were still closed. Took myself for a bit of fresh air after, wasnt too bad after that.

Bench - Low

Lazy lifter + shoulders, 5x3 YTWL’s between warmups, stretch hip flexors and TFL.

Bench 20kg 2x5, 60kg 2x5, 80kg x5, 100kg 2x1, 110kg x1, 117.5kg 4x6

CGBP to 2" block 105kg 3x6
Pin Press 97.5kg 3x8
DB OHP 30kg x6, 35kg x6, 42.5kg 2x6
Cable Flys 4 plates 3x8
DB Side Laterals 12.5kg 3x8
Dips BW 4x8

Bench felt really good today, benched with my feet out rather than under me. Feet under has been causing me a little back pain / cramp last couple of times Benching, feet out today felt like I was driving myself up the Bench rather than just driving my ass up towards my shoulders.

Well it took a whole 1 work set of Squats for my elbow to flare up so much I cudnt get under the bar, really starting to lose motivation!

Just called it a day and came home.

That sucks, man. I assume you have tried widening your grip?

You are stronger than me, so take my advice for what it is.

EDIT: My shoulders and elbows have felt better since I went out to the end of the bar, but I am only a 190kg squatter.

Yea I’ve tried it and my squat suffers, I cant get tight at all and it feels awful. It may be something I look at getting used to when I decide to train again but right now I’m taking atleast a week off. The flare ups are starting to effect my work, and that has to come first sadly.

It takes a few weeks to get used to it, but it is very well worth it. Check this out, it helped me a ton

Elbow is still causin me issues mate, it’ll be alright for a day or so then i’ll do something and all of a sudden its painful again. Not half as bad as it was but I’m just letting it sort itself.

I cant afford for it to get worse, its already effecting my work (Right elbow being a dick, and I’m right handed)

Gotcha. Hopefully your back soon
