Nice PR. Is that just for a paused bench? Or even for a touch-and-go bench?
My best PR on touch and go is 205. This 205 paused makes me even more confident im gonna get that 225 bench by end of the month like I planned!

NOTES: Just wasnt the day, plain and simple. Not much more to say. Frustrating especially cause I had that first rep atleast if I had dug my right hand in more. Just felt beat today after the deads. Made it thru the circuit. Not much more to say.
Decided to lower my desired max on the C/P cycle from 405 to 385 as to be in the habit of making lifts and not failing them. This will definitely be a good thing!
Well just rest and eat up and come back ready next week. After a few weeks on using heavier weights, particularly with DLs, I’m thinking that alternating between MEish and DEish work each week may prove beneficial for my DL. Seeing as DLs are pretty taxing.
I’m not saying you should change what you’re doing. Just that some weeks I feel I’m on fire and others like I’m burnt out for pulling.
Just keep on trucking and I’m sure you’ll have a pretty nice DL PR soon enough.
Yeah, thats what Im going to do. Im going to finish out the C/P cycle for sure. Lowering the desired max will help, plus I’ll still hit a PR in the end ![]()

NOTES: Just the session I needed. Squats felt great, SLDLs and BB Rows worked the muscles and my grip. Hooly hell, JM style shoulders is brutal! Great session!
Decided to go back to what was working for me. Just a split of Squat/SLDL/Shoulders, Chest/Traps/Biceps/Triceps, Deadlift/Glutes/Lats. Going to work with doubles and triples on DL for a few weeks per H4M’s recommendation, then attempt the 365x2 again in a few weeks to hopefully continue and finish the C/P cycle.
Good job on all those PRs man! Glad to see you’re reverting back to what’s been working for you.
