NOTES: Great squattin day. Smoked today’s top set and I’m barely folding over! Squat is lookin good!

You get all the cool training toys. Unfair.

Awesome work, that looks like such a cool environment to train in. It would be hard not to hit PRs with that kind of atmosphere to train in! Good stuff man!

a) You need more facial hair
b) You need more guys standing around you while you lift, LOL
c) Nice squats brah

Real GHR’s against a mini? Fuck man, I tried to do 1 this weekend at the end of my session, and failed so hard…I am just glad there wasn’t anyone around…

Very cool session. As much as I love my bodybuilding goals if I was in a position to train in an enviroment like that I’d probably smash some powerlifting out for 6+ months and see where it took me.

Thanks guys.

NOTES: 3 board felt great. The RB board work replaced lockouts this week. Felt great, 455 was too big a jump, duly noted. Great day overall, pulling tomorrow!!

Good stuff! How do you find the board work is working for you as a raw lifter? Do you think the westside stuff has enough programming for power off the chest as it seems to focus mostly on lockout strength?

Sorry for the 20 questions brah’, just interested to see how westside is treating you!

x2 on the “working for RAAAWWW” part. The main reason I think I didn’t progress with WS on bench, was too much focus on RB bench and 3-4 board work and not enough “off the chest” work.

When are you planning on doing normal heavy singles again, brah?

Well im doing 1, 2 and 3 board work. In addition to on DE day where its full rom always. Last night was the first time ive done RB bench. Considering I went from a barely 225x3 to 225x7 in around a month, id say its working well so far. As for normal heavy singles, on DE day I start doing 4’s and 3’s in a few weeks that are heavy and after this 3 week wave of doubles off of 3, 2 and 1 boards I move into singles.

Paused.

Overrated.

Underworked.

PR.

Paused Reps, yes, that’s what I’m saying

Personal Records, that’s what I’m saying

NOTES: Finally getting into pulling again! Everything felt great and only used my belt for the top set. Pulling for reps sucks!!! All these reps should yield some gains and that 500 pull =) Def. gonna be sore tomorrow.

Pulls looked great man. Keep your form that tight on a big pull, and you’ll PR like a BOSSSSSSS
