My Father's Day So Far

what ever ill feelings or jealousey any of you may feel because of it is your own issue though. normally i don’t bring it up at all, but for rainjack, i felt like putting it back on him.

hehe, only what you still dont “get” is that you didnt put anything “back on him”. How could you expect to when your big comeback was: Im set for life because — my grand-daddy made lotsa money and I managed to get born!..??

It seems to me maybe you arent a dick, you just arent naturally very bright. But thats ok. And if it makes you feel better to think I am just jealous please feel free.
except that he was flaunting his annual income and 3 year old suburban as if it would make him the king of the jungle in our discussion.

he was wrong.

the rest of the thread is pretty much just jealousy and bitterness.

not one person attempting to talk down to me would refuse to claim a winning lottery ticket, turn down family money or or reject any other free financial gain should they have access to it.

rainjack started a pity me, self piss party thread online (way more pathetic than having rich parents and grandparents when you put the jealousy aside and see the thread objectively), rainjack put a price tag on everything to use it for status, and it didn’t measure up.

that is all. continue thinking what you will because i was born lucky though i have a feeling you know it’s bs and are just bitter.

i still am a semester from college graduation, have worked as hard or harder than my peers, have a career lined up like anyone and will continue to work as hard or harder than most.

and i will also enjoy the perks i was born with. it would be stupid not to.

He wasn’t flaunting anything. HH assumed RJ was broke and that was the reason he had a crappy washer and a house he didn’t like. RJ corrected him.

You were the jackass trying to flaunt your lifestyle.

I appreciate hearing how a man makes his money and structures his finances.

I don’t give a shit how a kid was born into wealth.

Let’s tell the truth. Someone posted telling me things will get better for me financially if I just hang in there. I posted back saying that what I spent to repair my busted washer was not really even a drop in the bucket.

Then you posted your bullshit about how I shouldn’t be spending 4K if i am living in a shit hole. I countered your college kid advice with the truth. Not to impress.

You countered that with how rich your grand-daddy was/is, and how you are richer than I ever hope to be.

Hardly - you have proven that you are a dipshit much better than I could have ever done. That was my intent. That is what has happened.

Jealous of what? Your gramps? Bitter about what? Actually being a self-made millionaire?

I started a thread because I thought it was funny. Sorry you missed the point, but I should have expected it. You are not a bright child. Pathetic? You are the only poster on this thread deserving of that name.

One more time fuckwad - I used money to let you know I didn’t need your financial advice - and I still don’t.

I certainly hope your persona on the internet is fabricated solely to irritate. You have a long, lonely life ahead of you if this is who you really are.

This is no joke. Our washing machine just went on the blink. I’m not kidding.

Thinking of tossing the old one off the deck and taking and posting pics. I like being trendy.
For God’s sake - please don’t tell us how much the damn thing cost to replace.

It might cause texasdick to blow his wad thinking of yet another chance to brag about gramps.

Agreed.

I have even less respect for someone who accuses anyone who isn’t impressed by his ability to be lucky “jealous”.

To be honest, I don’t think, knowing what I do about Texasguy and his grandfathers money, that there is much he could do that would impress me. Sure, he could get a great job making more money than I ever will… but how much of that opprotunity CAME FROM the fact that he was born into wealth? Did he, thanks to his family, have access to resources the financially average person would not? I’d expect he’d have access, and use them (I’m not faulting his family for providing said resources nor him for taking advantage of them).

Its just that, for example, I’m much less impressed with the athlete whos family could afford him/her a personal trainer than I am with the one who made due with less.

You know, I started getting disappointed when I was reading the third quarter of this thread, with all the arguing on debt. I’m glad to see it went back to page one, it gave me a good laugh.

I tried to imagine somebody bodyslamming a washer though, somewhat difficult to picture, but I guess that’s not what this thread is about anymore.

I would be interested in seeing the machine getting body slammed. Can’t imagine how to lift it other than with the lid open.
