Well I’m starting my cut this morning and am after suggestions for music to listen to do my cardio with…with cardio i like listening too more rock/emo kinda music which is a genre that i have pretty much 0 knowledge about so i’m after suggestions for songs and albums that go along with these two tracks that i really like
P.O.D - sleeping awake, going in blind
Cold - Wasted years
suggestions would be greatly appreciated especially if you could post a youtube link to the song or a link to the lyrics, cheers
Don’t you think it would be easier (for us) if you mucked around at youtube for yourself? Every time you play a video they offer a few similar ones to the side. Or, you could browse itunes. And then, if you felt really motivated, you could go ahead and search up the lyrics or a video.
Anyway, in answer to your question, I currently have Hostile Gospel Pt. 1 (Talib Kweli) at the top of my cardio playlist. I don’t know if it fits the bill for you, though. It might be like the songs you listed. Or not. Could you add a post with the lyrics or a video? Then I’ll know better if my song suits.
While you’re at it, I’d love it if you could find a video of Hostile Gospel for me and post it in its own thread titled “That Song You Like to Run To.” Then I could just click it and enjoy it without having to do anything for myself.
since im such a nice guy here you go Talib Kweli - Hostile Gospel Pt 1 [Hi Quality] | Video
next time just list some suggestions or get the fuck out of the thread
Sorry! No need to get angry. I did make a couple of genuine suggestions. Your best bet is to find a system that starts matching you, some sort of “if you like that, you might like this” thing.
I look for music at iTunes for a start, then search it up at youtube (or whatever) to hear the whole thing and see what else the artist has. Asking on a message board won’t work. After all, how can anyone but me know that I like to run to a mix that’s heavily hip-hop, but also has some classic rock and current pop? If I said I’m looking for music that’s like Hostile Gospel and Led Zeppelin’s Ramble On…?
One last thing, I keep a little pad and pencil in the car so when I notice a song on the radio with the right tempo I write it down. Which isn’t safe, but it gives me a steady stream of ideas.
You might also do a search on “songs” or “music.” Threads like these don’t usually get a lot of hits, but there have been a number of them.

sorry its just youtube has been getting on my nerves a lot lately, it seems like any time i search for any music video clip it always comes up with this video has been removed, i also searched this site for about half an hour too see if anyone had made reference to these songs and too see what other songs they may have included to get something that may be similar too no luck
