Weight loss drugs work, but with caveats like muscle loss and fat regain. Forskolin carbonate helps you avoid both.
Incretin-based therapies work, but they're controversial. These drugs include GLP-1 (Ozempic, Wegovy) and GLP-1/GIP (Mounjaro, Zepbound). They squash the appetite and keep blood sugar more stable. The weight comes off.
The controversies? The drugs are made for type-2 diabetics and obese people with high mortality risks. They were not made for Hollywood types who want to look like extras in a zombie movie. Those aren't healthy bodies. That's drug-supported anorexia.
There's also the issue of dependency. Some studies show that most of the weight is regained after a year. What was meant to be a short intervention becomes long-term drug dependency.
Then there's muscle loss. One study showed that 40% of the weight lost is lean mass, as measured by DXA. Sure, "lean mass" counts water weight, but we can guess that most of it is muscle loss.
When you lose muscle, you end up with a lower resting metabolic rate (RMR), making it tough to keep the fat off. Rebound fat gain occurs quickly.
But we aren't here to judge (too much). These drugs can be used wisely by those who really need them, and many of the negative outcomes can be avoided with resistance training and adequate protein intake, which are nonnegotiable for any dieter.
But there's something else. Nearly every negative outcome of weight loss – muscle catabolism, RMR slowdown, and fat regain – can be avoided by using forskolin carbonate. That's the long-lasting form of forskolin. Biotest invented it and we call it Carbolin 19 ➔ Buy at Biotest.
What forskolin does
In a 12-week randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, human trial, subjects taking 25mg of forskolin twice daily lost 10 pounds of fat – without dieting – measured by DXA (Godard 2005). Forskolin basically flips a biochemical switch (cAMP) that tells your fat cells to release stored fat, without acting like a stimulant.
What's important for people on GLP-1 and related drugs, though, is the muscle retention. In that same study, the forskolin users preserved muscle mass. Some subjects even gained muscle. That means their metabolisms were left intact weight loss and they were much more likely to keep it off.
Delivery matrix matters
Standard forskolin does raise cAMP, but the results can be hit or miss. Plain forskolin breaks down easily in the gut, spikes and drops quickly, and has a short half-life.
What you want is a sustained fat-loss signal. Carbolin 19 ➔ Buy at Biotest delivers the carbonate ester of forskolin with superior bioavailability and longer duration. The formula includes polyoxyl-8 glycerides plus MCT oil, further improving absorption and consistency.
GLP-1 users should think of Carbolin-19 as "muscle insurance."
Lift weights, eat protein, and take two Carbolin-19 softgels twice daily. Lose the fat, keep the muscle, get off the drugs, then get on with your sustainably leaner life.
