This album has been out for about two weeks now and I have not purchased it yet for some reason. Has anyone bought it? If so, how is it? I have to imagine that it’s awesome.
I haven’t, but I’ve thought about it. I’m rather new to Murs, after seeing a feature about him on All Hip Hop, but I like what I’ve heard so far. Any song recommendations?
It’s not bad. I can’t personally recommend it, though. While I think it could have been worse, the big-label influence is definitely there, especially beat-wise. He hasn’t slowed down lyrically too much… Preview some songs on cdnow.com.

Lots of stuff of his on youtube. Also, be sure to check out some of his other work.
Felt (teamed up with Slug)
Living Legends
I just previewed this album on youtube and I have to agree that it’s not his best work.
For any Murs fans out there that might not have seen this, you can download “Sweet Lord”, for free. An album he made with 9th Wonder.
