The “taking an innocent life” part is a reference to Surah 5:32, which was actually warning the Jews not to take Muslim lives and spread “mischief in the land”:

Their definition of peace is submission to the will of Allah under his shari’ah. Ours is “live and let live.”

That is a great point. The Muslim view of peace is when everyone is doing what they want and feel fully justified to kill all those who are not doing what they want.
So if everyone is doing what they (Muslims) feel is Allah’s will, then there is peace. If not, they cut off peoples’ heads and post the clips on the net.
