MSM Journalism, Now We Have Proof They Lie All the Time!

PDFs of emails that are questionable.

These prove what? That he had some computer work done?

Hearsay.

Doing something criminal related to Joe?

Not being “Russian disinformation” only excludes it from being Russian. It can still be disinformation.

A whole pile of bad evidence doesn’t make any of it good based on the quantity.

Anyways, the burden is on NY Post to show it is true, and not on Twitter to prove it false. That is why the first Twitter post you linked was deceptive.

They themselves said they had no evidence of their that the evidence was disinformation of any origin.

They don’t have to have evidence of disinformation to disregard a claim. It is the owner of the claim that owns proving it.

If a story seems fishy, you shouldn’t believe it just because you can’t prove it false. Disregard the story until proven true.

And you think this is a consistent policy? Did they allow the Kavanaugh story? Russian collusion? 4 anon sources saying Trump had called dead marines losers?

Mnben…

Did I claim it is a consistent policy?

Is it required to be?

When a story is questioned the burden belongs to the story teller. Just because I didn’t doubt Paul’s story doesn’t mean I can’t doubt Pete’s story. Both may be false. Both may be true. One may be true and the other false. It is just the way it works.

Just to be clear. They don’t actually claim to have taken action because they arbitrarily and inconsistently thought it was disinformation. So this is moot.

It’s moot because they probably don’t have to give an explanation.

The South Korean site, qoo10, isn’t bad but the English is quite terrible so it gets confusing at times. There are some US retailers there IIRC.

Everything is made in China lol. Even your car parts and all. Cheap labor. I don’t think you’re gonna get the same prices if you manufacture all these in the US unless you start importing cheap foreign labor in states with no minimum wage.

THIS.

Go directly to the source website. I can do that for AliExpress but I don’t trust independent China sites with payment security.

I think a computer procured from “some guy at a computer repair shop” that was simply dropped off there with the owner not coming to collect it which was filled with tons of allegedly incriminating evidence of the former VP and his son of a slew of criminal misdeeds is a little dubious to most people.

I’m not saying it’s not possible, just questioning the probability.

The photos could be real. The emails could be fake since they’re pdfs as said above. Something like that, see what I’m saying?

Ok, guys, they didn’t even give that reason. They aren’t contesting it as being disinformation.

What’s going on then? It’s getting interesting. Should I bring out the popcorn?

Oh, if that’s how they want to be seen, up to them.
But we should talk about it, no?

They claim they did so because of a hacked materials policy. And not because of a disinformation policy. The story though explained how the materials were obtained by the computer shop fella. Receipt and all.

They admit they had no evidence the materials were hacked. In other words, arbitrary. So they have now said oops and changed their policy after how long? Ted Cruz, a US Senator, wasn’t even able to link the article. Until just today. And only after making a stink that he still couldn’t though he had been assured that he was able to even then.

A person can find Trump despicable and also find the depths sunk to in order to send him packing to be despicable and a bit unnerving.

Yeah, that was their first claim. Later they said they amended it so people who didn’t do the hacking can disseminate such material, i.e, they can forward it.

I don’t know what constitutes “hacking” in the US. but now it’s getting interesting. Will be waiting for more info.

Agreed. It’s a matter of principles to me.

I think he’s citing “direct incitement of violence” as the reason. It’s a reasonable argument IF Trump really tweeted something of that kind(I’ve not seen any). No one is suddenly going to go around beating up Jews just because someone denied the Holocaust.

Also, you gotta think about this. The President is the Head of State. Everything he says will have wide reaching effects on it’s citizens. You can’t compare this to a small number of conspiracy theorists.

I’m not really defending Twitter. I’m saying Trump should stop tweeting stupid shit. Even if he loses this time, he will still have lots of influence on his base through social media for years to come.

Oh GOD I’m just so fucking PISSED.

Everyone in fucking Asia knew China wasn’t fucking around. We were telling those dumb fucks to cut it out. These morons played right into their hands. The idiot anarchists were poking the (Winnie the Pooh) bear thinking they were going to get another Tiananmen with tanks and shit so more people would revolt and the international backlash would happen.

The CCP is not fucking stupid.

Here’s why I’m PISSED:

What the fuck? Why was the fucking media framing it all like they were fighting for INDEPENDENCE? NO ONE was asking for that. NO ONE. Only the goddam hardliners and the loons.

Look at how many of them ran away after the national security new law was passed:

This is what I’m REALLY PISSED ABOUT. You know WHY? Because their demands wouldn’t have made good headlines for the media.

These were their main objectives:

  • Complete withdrawal of the extradition bill from the legislative process : Although the chief executive announced an indefinite suspension of the bill on 15 June, its status of “pending resumption of second reading” in the Legislative Council meant that its reading could have been resumed quickly. It was formally withdrawn on 23 October 2019.[56]
  • Retraction of the “riot” characterisation : The government originally characterised the 12 June protest as “riots”, it later amended the description to say there were “some” rioters, an assertion protesters still contest. The crime of “rioting” carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
  • Release and exoneration of arrested protesters : Protesters consider their lawbreaking acts to be mostly motivated by a politically righteous cause; they also question the legitimacy of police arresting protesters at hospitals through access to their confidential medical data in breach of patient privacy.
  • Establishment of an independent commission of inquiry into police conduct and use of force during the protests : Civic groups felt that the level of violence used by the police against protesters and bystanders, arbitrary stop-and-search,[57] and officers’ failure to observe Police General Orders pointed to a breakdown of accountability.[58] The absence of independence of the existing watchdog, the Independent Police Complaints Council, is also an issue.[59]
  • Resignation of Carrie Lam and the implementation of universal suffrage for Legislative Council elections and for the election of the chief executive :[60] The chief executive is selected in a small-circle election, and 30 of the 70 legislative council seats are filled by representatives of institutionalised interest groups, forming the majority of the so-called functional constituencies, most of which have few electors.

There was no fucking mention of “independence”. NONE. 3 out of 5 were directly or indirectly against POLICE BRUTALITY. 1 was for democratic elections, which they didn’t even have under BRITISH RULE. What was this shit about “fighting for freedom”? How many out of the million that marched even read the extradition bill?

You bring up “independence”, it implies secession:

http://www.law.hku.hk/ccpl/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Pub/Conf%20&%20Seminar/14062003b-Treason,%20Secession,%20Subversion%20and%20Sedition.pdf

Of course the CCP was going to pass the new National Security Law. These fuckheads literally gave them an excuse to do it:

The fucking media just went and spun this bullshit into some “fight for independence”. How did they think China was going to act when all this shit made international news? Fucking morons thought there would be tanks and shit like the stupid anarchist fucks? This isn’t 1988. It’s 2020. They thought other countries were going to back them? They thought they UN had their backs? Come the FUCK ON. All just virtue signaling.

This is an egregious breach of the terms of the 1997 Handover Agreement, which grants Hong Kong full autonomy until 2047. The Brits can’t do balls other than offer people citizenship.

If they had just STOPPED after the extradition bill was withdrawn,

shit would have been fine. Noooo… the small minority of MORONS had to push it. Who the fuck was going to release protestors and reclassify the early “riot” to protests when these idiots were throwing molotov cocktails into subway stations just 1 month later?

Holy fuck I’m just flabbergasted at all this stupidity. Fuck. FUCK! So pissed at the media… Fuck them. Fuck the anarchists. And fuck the CCP.

Lest anyone thinks this is some socialist vs capitalist shit, you’ve got it BACKWARDS:

“In late 2014 then Hong Kong Chief Executive Leung Chun-Ying told the international press that half the people of Hong Kong earned US$1,800 a month or less. Open elections would, as he explained, raise the risk that poorer residents would win a dominant voice in politics and then press to create a welfare state, something that Hong Kong big business – which, broadly speaking, backs Beijing – has for decades adamantly resisted.”

This fucking CCP lackey DIDN’T WANT HK TO TURN INTO A WELFARE STATE. That’s part of why people are pissed.

Don’t believe the fucking nonsense in the media.

Yes, and what Ted Cruz said was cathartic and and soothing, to an obviously very stoned Jack Dorsey. Dude was blitzed. He be hittn’ them dabs.
However, what’s congress going to do about it?
They can try to reform 230, but good luck getting the democrats on board. There is a reasonable case to be made to say that twitter is a publisher and hence 230 does not apply and are therefore subject to rules of publishers and not platforms, but someone has to make that case in court not in congress, unless congress makes the suit, which I do not believe they can do. But the NY Post can make a law suit. The FCC could bring a case against them also.
I am happy with the tongue lashing but it’s just not enough, they either need to do something legislatively.
They can declare the space that twitter operates in, a public space. I.E. Declaring any space people congregate and converse a public.
I would like to see the anti-trust, trust busting team go into full steam and take them (Alphabet, Facebook, twitter, Amazon) all out at once, like Roosevelt did. That would be the best solution, IMO.
