@Mike thanks Bro your advice and wisdom is always appreciated. I am tyring not to do anything stupid this time around but it may already be too late, lol. My shoulders are pretty beat up and I am finding it is hard to recover even after 3 days but its worth it for me to chase that 500 bench.
Today - Volume! I found that I am having a hard time doing over 8 reps of anything at any weight. I been training 5 and 3 reps for so long when I hit 8 mentally I start to check out.
A1) Dips 5x10
A2) Shoulder Dislocates with a red mini - 5x10
Close grip bench Bench 135x20, 185x12, 225x8x3, 185x8, 135x20
Palm facing DB press 80x8, 3x12@60
Skull crushers with a straight bar - 3x10@85
Standing press - 3x20
Seated side laterals - 3x10@25
standing DB shrugs - 3x12@80
Foam rolling and stretching after. Lots of pain from the shoulders since Sundays workout. Strangely it didn’
t hurt during the workout or right after, felt pretty good. I wonder if I am just being overly cautious and should just push through this but that is what I am inclined to do which tells me it is probably the wrong thing to do. Going to keep it light and if the only max day I get is one day a week with Nick then so be it.
I hear you on the recovery thing. Even 2-3 days after a workout my body will often still ache. Seems like a lot of shoulders are aching on this forum this morning. You,Skip and DCA. Not good.

All I did today was light squats working on form trying to get a perfect squat. I Video taped the workout but I have not transfered it yet.
Squats, 135x10, 225x10, 315 to a 14" box touch and go 5x5, 365x1 14" box touch and go, 315 to a 12" box touch and go 3x3, 225 12" box release on bottom 3x8, 225 rest pause in the hole deep as my hips would allow 3x5
Revese hypers - 3x10
BW Pull ups - 3x6
DB Shurgs - 3x15@100
Inversion machine for 5 minutes
I have been working on some things and it screwed me up in a few sets and helped in others. I am going to go over the tape tonight and see where I need work. Shoulders still hurt it was tough to get tight and get my elbows down becuase of it.
Nice looking Squats Colin, if thats light form work I’d hate to see your super heavy days.
