I saw this movie on the Scifi channel. I know most Scifi channel movies suck, but this had to be the worst thing I have ever seen.
Alien vs Hunter.
A rip off of AVP which looked like it was shot in someone’s backyard with a handheld shaky super 8 camera.
SciFi movies are AWESOME.
Hear their changing the name of the Sci-Fi Channel to…"the Scyfy Channel !! ?? !! ??
why on earth would they do that? not that anyone even watches that channel anymore
Zack and Miri Make a Porno - This movie also had a bullshit plotline typical of most movies like it, but it did have it’s funny moments. Duane from The Office and Justin Long were the highlights of the movie. The “Dutch Rudder” scene and the Indian store owner were also particularly funny. Seth Rogan fucking sucks. He’s not funny at all. He thinks profanity and vulgarity are the keys to comedy, and he’s totally fucking wrong most of the time. Just because you used “cunt” or “fucking pussy” in a line doesn’t mean the line was funny. C
I argee, his movies are basically all the same, yet I will still watch them as they usually have some good parts. But generally actors found in the comedy movies more or less have the same style throughout their movies. The scene at the start with the store owner was fucking halirious though. Other then that it was pretty damn predictable from 20mins in. Worth watching overall though.
i’ve loved you so long - it was a sad movie. i loved it. it was a french movie about a woman released from prison after fifteen years and goes to live with her younger sister until she gets on her feet. i like french movies.
they remind me of older films in that they’re very honest about showing people going through the different stages of life and they tend to focus on relationships. i love kristin thomas as an actress and to me she is more powerful when she takes on a role in a french film.
death to smoochy - i still love this movie. everything about it is so on point. the cast and the costumes just tickled me. the dark humor speaks to me loud and clear. great from beginning to end. meanwhile it got like one and half stars.
I watched 3:10 to Yuma with Russell Crowe and Bat Man. I thought it was pretty good, but basically the Brady Bunch episode where Peter idolizes Jesse James accomplished the same thing in much less time. The best part was there was no fucking Maggie Gyllenhall ruining every scene her and anyone else were in.

yeah. instead they had renee zellwegger with that lemon-sucking expression she thinks is sexy. it was not rocket science but she brought it down a notch.

She was the wife? I hate her. I was hoping it would turn out she was a hoo-er in San Francisco where Russell Crowe said he knew a girl that looked like her from.
Milk - It was well acted, I suppose, but this movie did nothing for me. Despite living in the Bay Area, I was never aware of Harvey Milk or any of the events involving him. After watching the movie, I still don’t really care. Sorry.
Personal Effects - Boring-ass movie that that was pretty predictable from the first 5 minutes. Ashton Kutcher gives an extremely uneven performance. I’m think he was trying to portray pent up rage in this movie, but he ended up coming across as socially inept and borderline retarded.
He also walked really funny and I think it was because he was trying to butch up as he was playing an ex-college wrestler. They even had scenes of him benching (and only benching, mind you, never squatting or training other body parts) 225-245 with fake plates. One of the opening scenes of the movie shows him just banging out endless reps with 225. I knew I couldn’t take the rest of the movie seriously at that point.

You’re talking about Appaloosa. Neither Ed Harris nor Renee Zelleweger were in 3:10 to Yuma.

That’s good…I didn’t particularly like the broad that played Batman’s wife in 3:10, but I didn’t dislike her as much as if she woulda been R. Zellwegger…or
Hey ! I never updated that I watched Pumping Iron last Friday with She Say and my 8 year old. I had to talk really, really loud when Arnold was explaining The Pump was like cumming and he gets to cum and cum all day because that’s what weight lifting is like.

Yeah, I could do without either of them, too.
For the record, Gretchen Mol was wife in 3:10 to Yuma. She has a much better rack than either Renee or Maggie, so that automatically puts her ahead in my book.

No worries. I get those movies confused myself. I had to reread your post a few times before I figured out why it confused me.
Watch The Notorious Bettie Page if you’re a Gretchen Mol fan. Gotta love an actress that isn’t shy about nudity AND has a nice rack.
It’s not a good movie, but Forever Mine is also good as far as appreciating Gretchen Mol’s assets.
i like the life story of bettie page so i’ll check out the movie.
the diving bell and the butterfly - i watched it last night. i am glad i waited to see it at home instead of when it came out. it was as sad as i knew it would be. i kept thinking about the story today. the lesson of carpe diem comes through loud and clear after seeing the true story of a man who had a stroke at 42 that left him paralyzed. he had to make the most of the situation and the movie shows flashbacks of key points in his life. it was heartbreaking and beautiful the close relationship he had with his father. i cannot stop thinking about that movie.
28 Weeks Later- I thought the makers of it could have made better use of it’s potential but not horrible. I would not make this more than a rental or better, just late night on cable.
DC Cab - this is a classic movie that I has some great lines in it. “Don’t let your dick run your life…”, along with “Bend and Flush” should give you an idea of what’s going on here. Great for a laugh and not much more.
