I watched “What Happens in Vegas”. It is as bad as it looks.
Rob Cordery is fucking funny. Everyone else was not.
(In my defense, I was bored, and it was free)

Both are great movies, but please don’t tell me it was the first time you’ve watched Office Space.
Wasn’t the first time ;). I’m most likely going to be watching 25th hour later on.

Ditto. RR is the man.
I watched Man Bites Dog this past weekend. I saw the previews for it on IFC and set the Tivo. Fucking hilarious movie. It’s a French mockumentry where a camera crew follows around a hitman and films him doing just about eveything. They go through about 5 sound guys because they keep getting killed off.
I also had MP’s Holy Grail from Netflix, which is always entertaining.
I have Hitman and a MST3K on the way from Netflix for this weekend. Also have Transformers and 28 Days Later on the Tivo for me to get around to watching at some point.

Which MST3K are you getting?

The Sinister Urge. I’m slowly making my way through all the episodes I’ve never seen(that made it to DVD). I finally saw Hobgoblins a few weeks ago. Without a doubt one of the best MST3K ever.

I think I need to start putting those in my queue as well. It’s been so long since I’ve watched them, that I can’t remember which ones I’ve seen. I might as well just watch them all again. ![]()

Haha… I’ll own up to it, too.
Mine was only $4, but it was with two lovely ladies, so I obliged happily.
And you’re right, there’s actually some fairly funny parts in it. Not sure it was worth $4, though.

Watched ‘There Will be Blood’ Saturday night. Thought it was excellent. Daniel Day Lewis was intense. That character was scary yet utterly hilarious at times.

TWBB is one of my favorite movies now. Daniel Day Lewis was just unbelievable in it. I loved the soundtrack too. It was very eerie.
Hell yeah. Look the title up on youtube and you can find the “milkshake” and the “I’ve abandoned my boy!” scene. I honestly think those are a couple of the best movie scenes ever made.

I just realized you changed your avatar. Not that I mind…
Those are probably the two best scenes from a movie in recent memory. “Bastard in a basket” is good too. Have you seen the SNL parody of it? Well, here it is anyway:
Just finished Diary of the Dead. It’s not scary and only a little gory, but I actually thought it was pretty funny in parts.
If your into MST3K check out cheepnis.com, sells all the episodes not currently available from rhino. In my opinion there is a 3way tie for best MST3K ep between Giant Spider Invasion, Legend of Boggy Creek 2, & Touch of Satan, just like my opinion man.
I just received
National Treasures II
and
The Invasion
Last week I watched:
A History of Violence (again, Viggo is the an)
She Creature (cheesy mermaid horror movie)
Cloverfield
I love netflix. I love renting some off the wall cheesy movie that I would never have gone to the movies to see.

I’m going to pick up National Treasure 2 today at lunch.
I really liked History of Violence, but it wasn’t what I expected. I saw it in the theater and there was a lot of nervous laughter throughout the film. I don’t think anyone was expecting how it turned out. Since you’re a Viggo fan, have you seen Eastern Promises? I think you’d like that one.
I also rent more cheesy and low budget movies since switching to online. I know I shouldn’t bother with most of those movies, but something compels me to watch them anyway. Hatchet comes to mind as one that I knew was going to be awful, but I had to watch it. I ended up thinking it was pretty campy and funny though, so it wasn’t a total waste.

What did you think of Revolver? I really liked that one. The casting and acting was pretty good. I think I liked the hitman the most, though. As for movies seen, Alvin and the Chipmunks, 30 Days of Night, Prince Caspian (awesome!) and am getting ready to watch The Brave One for the second time.

Eastern Promises was great, but what the hell was up with the ending? That’s it? Kind of a let down.
OG, I remeber watching She Creature years ago(Carla Gugino is in that right?)not expecting anything worth a crap and it actually was pretty damn good. I love it when that happens.

I’m drawing a total blank as to how Eastern Promises ended. I hate it when that happens.

Revolver was okay for me. I liked it until the ending. Ever since Guy Ritchie married Madonna, I haven’t liked his movies as much. I think Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels are much better.

Spoiler alert:
Viggo and his woman go to the river to stop crazy man from drowning his half brother. Woman takes care of baby. Shows Viggo drinking wodka in the restaurant The end. WTF?

You’re right, that was a bad ending. That’s probably why I forgot it because so lame and didn’t have much of an impact for me.
