I like the terrible B-movie stuff and the bad horrors as well.
Bad (perhaps not) horror movie: Andy Warhol’s Frankenstein shot in 3D.
Very graphic violence and sex.

I watched the previously mentioned Thriller: A Cruel Picture. LOL! I see someone watching that thinking:“Yeah, just another b-movie with some skin. Yeah, I’ve seen this all befo…HOLY DICK, BALLS, AND ASSHOLES!” The girl in it was pretty damn hot. And looked to be about 16 years old.
I attempted to watch Winter Passing but fell asleep halfway through. I don’t think I missed much. It was pretty odd to see Will Ferrel play a semi-retarded, introvert type though. I’m a Ed Harris fan, but this flick was pretty bad.

Trailer Park Boys: It’s about 3 guys and their attempts at stealing stuff in order to pay the lot fees at their trailer park, and it is hysterical. I’m not only buying the DVD, but tracking down the TV episodes the movie is based on.[/quote]
TPB is the greatest fucking show ever. The movie isn’t as good as the episodes so you are in for a treat. If you track down the 6th and 7th seasons, let me know where you found them because Netflix doesn’t have them.
Code Name: The Cleaner - This was just kind of silly.
Life of the Party - It was okay in parts, but I have a hard time with movies like these when I think the lead character is a douche for the most part.
Charlie Bartlett - This movie was okay. I hate high school movies where everyone seems to get along. Where are these magic high schools? Robert Downey Jr. was cool in it though.
In Bruges - I thought this movie was funny. There were some really good performances in this.
I just watched the original Psycho for the first time ever. Pretty cool movie and it was kind of nice because, other than it being about a killer at the Bates Motel, I didn’t know what it was about or the story line.
I’ve got To Catch a Thief sitting here, but since I’m not you guys, it will take me a few days to watch it.
I am sappy and I watched “The Notebook”… that is such a goooooood movie.

The Ruins - Mehhh kinda sucked.

I listened to the book on tape and I was shocked they made it into a movie!
I kept waiting for a better ending… something other than what it was
Just watched Hustle and Flow - sort of contrived but the acting was very genuine and I thought the director was really thinking on his feet with the shot selection.
Thumbs up

B-movie are my genre. Can’t believe I haven’t seen this.
Movies I watched this week. Ummmm…
Lethal Weapon and Escape From New York
What do you guys consider watching a movie? All I do is fast forward to the scenes I like and then go do something.

Yeah, but do you do that with every movie or only movies you’ve seen before?
For me, it’s anytime I sit down and watch a movie from beginning to end, even if it maybe takes me a day or two to finish it. Certain things I don’t count though. Like when I put on a movie I’ve seen a million times as background noise when I’m doing stuff around the house. Over the last two weeks, I probably went through Ang Lee’s Hulk 3 or 4 times, but I never actually sat down with it.

I don’t have the attention span to sit down and a watch a movie. UNLESS its in the movie theaters. Anywhere else, I get bored and want to do something.
If it’s a bad movie, I will skip scenes for sure.
Some would say watching movies is a waste of time, but certainly watching bad movies is an ever bigger waste of time.

I got in an argument with someone about this once. They said seeing movies was a waste of time and money, but this person was a club-rat, which to me is a bigger waste of time and money.
I do definitely scan past scenes if the movie is slow. A lot of times that’s one of the ways I judge a movie is by how much fast forwarding I do through it.
I love how some of the newer players will allow you to scan at 1.5x or 2.0x speed, but still allow you to hear the sound and see the subtitles. That really helps me get through a bad or slower paced movie quicker and still watch the whole thing without missing anything.
The Devil’s Rejects - I didn’t really like this at all.
The Spiderwick Chronicles - Not bad for a kid’s movie. The creature effects were pretty good.
The Hammer - This was kind of funny. If you’re a fan of Adam Carolla, then you’ll probably like this.
Definitely, Maybe - It felt a little too long, but it wasn’t bad.
Wall-E - Loved this! I highly recommend it if you haven’t seen it yet.
Wanted - I liked this a lot too. Great summer movie action.
Trailer Park Boys - I had never heard of this until it was mentioned earlier in this thread, but I thought this was pretty funny. I might have to go back and watch some of the seasons now.
Stick it: I liked it. About gymnastics. Women’s gymnastics. I liked the characters, ladies were pretty, and jeff bridges was in it.
AND the main character wore a Motorhead shirt.
Dope.
I’m starting Deep Rising now. Fun movie.
TNate-
I just saw “There Will Be Blood” last night. It occurred to me that your avatar is “Daniel”.
Great movie, especially for a former geologist

I’ve said this before, but I’ve had a thing for Missy Peregrym since she was on Heroes. I watched the movie just cause she was in it. I ended up liking it.
…and Jeff Bridges is always cool.

It was a cool movie. And yes, I liked missy as well.
I’ve seen some crappy movies lately.
Pelts, Despite the fact the movie is only about 55 minutes long and has Meatloaf in it I was able to fall asleep during it. It’s about supernatural furs that strike revenge over whoever desires them.
Class of Nuke 'em High. I knew this wasn’t going to be all that great since it was a troma movie but I thought I’d give it a whirl since I do enjoy Cannibal the Musical. Its about a radiation leak and a nuclear power plant that affects the kids at a local school.
Session 9, I’d seen this movie before but thought I’d rewatch it since it had been a few years. I didn’t remember it reminding me so much of Fight Club and Identity but it definately did.
Jumper, I thought it was a pretty good movie. Definately things that needed to be explained but I wasn’t really dissapointed by it.
