Godfather 3. Certainly not the best in the series, but it’s not cinematic smegma like some people say.

Who hates this? I usually can’t stand Josh Hartnett but this was a great film start to finish. The straight-to-dvd sequel… notsomuch.

You have no idea how many times I was standing in the arcade playing Star Wars (the one with the steering wheel control where you flew the X-wing) and wished this movie were real. Great call.

Agree about Godfather 3. I never understood why Sophia Coppola got so much hate, thought she was reasonable and definitely not the worst performance ever. The shots of Sicily were pretty great also.
The Informers
I didn’t realise this wasn’t exactly a cinematic masterpiece until some friends told me it sucks after they had to watch it with me.

I was joking about the Indiana Jones movie. I only used that title to segue into the cheating story! LOL
The film she wanted to see was really Romancing The Stone.
So she cheated on you with a jacked Kathleen Turner?
Danny Devito. Obviously.

Wouldn’t a jacked Danny D be an in-shape Arnold?

White people and midgets for some reason.
Not everyone likes English movies due to the accents in America.
On a side not I love snatch, but I’m hetero so that goes without saying.
My favorite Arnold character is Julius from Twins.
It’s one of those movies I own on DVD yet still watch about 20 minutes of it whenever it’s on Cinemax.
Hamburger Hill
Heartbreak Ridge (“Sgt. Tom Highway” is one of the best character names ever)
Ghost Rider
Deep Impact
John Rambo (most people on this board probably don’t hate this, but it got shitty reviews)

Come on man, it starred noted thespian Nicholas Cage, who worked his way up from nothing and achieved Hollywood stardom without any outside help or nepotism whatsoever. Cut me some slack!

Heartbreak Ridge was one of those movies that I didn’t see till very recently, and it was a very different movie than I thought it would be.
I remember the black and white poster of Eastwood and I thought it was a dark and gritty Vietnam movie. Then I saw it and it was a wacky 80s movie where the old grizzled veteran has to reshape the misfits kind of movie. Blew my mind.

I just want to say that I find it cute that you’ve been a member for a few months and your first post here is about Waterworld.

I see what you did there!
I’d like to think that if the Coppola clan never existed, Cage would still be in showbiz… eking out a living as s second-rate Elvis impersonator in dive bars across the U.S instead of earning millions performing the same act in Hollywood movies.
The story about him changing his surname to avoid accusations of nepotism is a whopping lie: in one of his first roles he is credited as Nic Coppola, directed by uncle Francis. As if the people who matterd forgot who he was…
The best thing about nepotism is that even if you fail you’ll always have your family to fall back on.

Greystoke - if you like Chris Nolan’s Batman films, this was THE first modern attempt to reinvent a character bloated by age , success, and numerous creative interpretations. It is essentially Tarzan Begins , and there are too many elements in common with Nolan’s reboot to deny that Greystoke was a major, major influence: both feature a rich kid losing his parents (and himself) to tragedy, only to return to a place where he no longer belongs.
I was too distracted by Rick Baker’s brilliant FX work to notice that until now.
Thats a great movie, but dont think its commonly hated.
A crappy movie with lambert that should be hated is “DRUIDS”, its pure crap.
